Sad about SoW. Wanted to see your reaction to the endings or the dlcs with the human mercenaries. But Seth is back. For the chosen, He is a hack Oh god Central broke his back C'mon Commander. Let's get back on track
Prioritize yourself over us Seth, We want you to be better we LOVE the video's but we care about you, So don't worry about us unless you feel perfectly fine don't worry about it and keep yourself in good health, Best of luck my friend.
0:40 Hey, regarding mental health, as someone who's been having to deal with a lot of dysphoria and loneliness over the period of my city's quarantine, please, please, please take care of yourself first and foremost. I personally find your content fun because of how jolly and easy going you are, it just radiates a sort of joyous energy, poor care of mental health will just kill it. Our enjoyment of your content is based on your enjoyment to make it.
8:07 "There is no cap on the amount of offensive actions that ADVENT can take on their turn *unlike all the other difficulties below it"* ... there's a CAP?
It’s really cool to watch Seth run through possibilities and explain his reasoning for each and every action he takes. He really has earned the title of Commander.
"The computer is cheating" I mean the devs themselves have confirmed the computer cheats and the RNG is actually skewed and the numbers aren't accurate, so...
Hey, Makes the fight all so more Real. Instead of a predictive foe, You have a completely random enemy to fight every time, Becoming more so smart to your bullshit and tactics and learning.
24:30 Seth: *Complains about wounded Rangers* Volk: So, there's this mission I need you to do, I'll give you a free Ranger- *Seth takes off at lightning speed*
Thanks for the video, and be sure to take care of yourself. As you said, this year especially has been vey hard on almost everybody; your wellbeing, mentally and physically, comes first.
During squad concealment, the aliens are scripted to gradually close in if you spend too long in it. (About 10-15 turns). Additionally, if a pod has been activated, they will move towards the direction that they were fired at from. This makes reaper cheesing a little difficult if you can’t find a ledge to sit on, as you’ll need to stay constantly on the move to prevent being found.
I remember one lost mission I had a squad of 4 I think. One of my best went down. And 2 others honorably carried them to the evac. While my last stayed behind to provide cover against the nearly endless wave of lost that kept coming due to ... just. SO MANY gosh darn explosions. I got her onto some crates (She was a Grenadier) But she had an ace up her sleeve. One free reload per turn. So, i'd fire all my shots, then hunker down. Then reload at the start of the next turn. Fire my 3 shots, reload again to use up the first turn officially. (Cause of lost headshot mechanic) She couldn't be hit due to the way the shipping crates were stacked, and they kept coming single file. I was determined to have her fight to the bitter end. ..... Eventually after. God idek HOW many lost bodies piled up. The mission just ended with a success. THERE'S A LIMIT TO HOW MANY LOST CAN BE IN A MISSION! I was SHOCKED.
I might have a recommendation for your main X com 2 WoTC series, maybe have the next episode focus on the Commander's ever growing paranoia about the Hunter's blackmail and how it's starting to deteriorate his mind, making him reckless.
I just found you a couple weeks ago while randomly looking for Subnautica videos. Have since watched your entire XCOM 2 series and long war and such multiple times, and just been binging all of your content. You are one of the most impressive and fun content creators I have seen in a long time. Please keep up the good work, you have made my depression go away somewhat. You've got yourself a new sub for life, thank you Commander.
Welcome back to the land of the living. If you're interested, there is a game called Empire of Sin coming out which promises to be like XCOM but set during the prohibition in Chicago. It looks like it will be interesting to watch, and I would be interested in seeing it on the channel.
Hey Seth I'm relatively new to your Channel but I'm glad your in a better headspace, I know a bunch of your longtime followers are probably saying the exact same thing but you happy really makes us happy because your humor and honestly your laughing on stream at crazy stuff that happens is one of the things that got me to stay, you bring up the serotonin levels I think! I'm gonna miss the RPG modded run but I'm really, really looking forward to a vanilla Legend Run. Your Warlock Avenger Assault vid was the very first one I ever saw of yours and I hope this 'Timeline' is as successful!
Sorry to hear things haven't been great for you lately. Thank you for providing good entertainment despite that. I appreciate the effort you put into editing your videos.
Just gonna say this, I only found this channel because of the Subnuatica series so I won’t act as if I’m this long time fan or anything but I subbed almost instantly. You sir just have this energy about you and it makes me want to watch more of you content but I’m weird when it comes to watching old content so I haven’t gone back. Maybe I should but I haven’t. However, this seems like it’ll be a good series so I’m gonna keep up with it.
I know you mentioned your own struggles, let me just say I two have been having mental issues. But seeing that you've uploaded? It genuinely made me smile and just instantly go "yes!". So thanks for coming back to content!
Which zombos you referring to? The lost, I can't explain, but the sectiod zombies kinda get a pass considering that they have psionic energy running through them.
I don't blame you for not going with SOW. It took brett to start over for him to do it again. I even started over again and Had a lot more fun than I used to.
Welcome back Seth, your playthroughs of XCom 2 have been inspirational to me and i have embarked on my own series for my channel, lets just say not going well but still in the fight but only just. You do what you have to do my man and keep going as best you can and as a certain person out of a certain film once said "Never Give Up, Neverrrrr Surrender", "We have your limousine".
While it's a shame to hear about Shadow of War, I'm glad to still see you going at XCOM 2 as well as your other projects. You're narratives pretty damn great listening to.
Randomly came across this video in my recommended. I have played XCOM casually, so idea of an Iron Man Legend run sounded great. And this was amazing! You think a lot critically than I do and I really enjoyed the advanced perspective you have. You earned a sub for this. As for your mental health, I am new here but always care for yourselfe first. I hope everything goes well for you man. Good luck!!
I have never laughed so hard watching an Xcom video before. That whole lost / Advent part was hilarious. Great editing as well. It made it even better. XD
Welcome back to RUclips Seth, I hope you're doing a lot better now that the chaos of the world has calmed down (somewhat). Feel free to take your time time with whatever video's you're working on because we would rather you be ok and comfortable during the process. Outside of work though I hope you stay safe and don't mentally exhaust yourself. Once again, on behalf of your community: Welcome back.
We're all extremely happy to see you back Seth, just keep doing what you do. Whether it's the overly edited WOTC, or thus type of game, we all love your content. Keep on holding on, and it will get better
Okay, so GREAT to see you back Seth, and always love seeing some XCOM, it’s the usual wholesome craziness that we all love 😂. Sad to hear about Shadow of War, but I respect your decision, if you do decide to pick it back up again I would love to see more, in addition I would recommend the Eltariel story missions, those are the more interesting ones and tie in directly to the main story, but heh, if you’re not continuing that one, then okay. Looking forward to seeing more of this series and of course your War of the Chosen series too, in particular the Hunter showdown mission 😉. Most importantly though, stay healthy buddy, both physically and mentally, take care of yourself first, we’ll be here to view you amazing content when your ready, never fear 👍🏻. (Clears throat and settles into full British native that I’am) So keep a stiff upper lip old chap, and keep up the good work 🇬🇧🍻.
Dude, take as long as you need to and do whatever you have to in order to get your stuff together. We've waited this long for your videos and we can wait a little longer still.
Recently went through a move and other stuff myself and took a hit mentally. Hope getting back in the recording seat helps you improve your mental health. I'm sure i speak for a few of your viewers when i say having you back doing videos will sure help our mental health :P
Seth, come on man... you got to take care of yourself. I love your content, and I always feel that little spark of joy whenever I see you upload, but I'd much rather wait for content than watch you slowly lose yourself to stress. I've been through that, and it's not something I want anyone else to have to go through. You're a great content creator, one of my favorites, but I can wait if I have to. Hope the rest of this year goes better for you and hopefully next year won't be so *quack* In other news, this reminded me that I have to play WOTC again. Cheers.
HE LIVES. In all seriousness man, take as much time as you need. Better to have you be less frequent but firing on all cylinders than you running yourself down to upload more than your comfortable with. That said, sounds like we can expect a bit more with you being a little more settled.
Seth. If you feel like a shit then I as Your fan feel the need to help you. Hell. You even inspired me to record mini-series from XCOM 2 with mods for my friends. It took over 36 hours to record and beat it. This showed me how much passion you have to put into this things. It was amazing. Exhausting but amazing. Remember then that at least 1 person (because for sure there are more) is here for you and no matter the quality of the content we will always love you. Godspeed for you Commander
Hi Seth I love your content and you inspired me to get XCOM 2. Take all the time in the world I would rather have good content when you are feeling well then content for content sake.
take it easy, we don't care about the gap in content if you take a break, your content is worth the wait, and your mental health is much more important than content
Take the time you need dude, shits been rough for everyone. Also the ai happily sacrifice units out of cover to reveal or flank xcom units if they think they can kill them mathematically, its also the reason the ai break so often they are so desperate to get flanks to increase the math the ai has a fit trying to flank each lost for the best math.
Glad to have you back, Commander Seth! And yeah, it's been quite a shit year, but, atleast you only have to experience them once! And I've got a feeling the next one's gonna be loads better! Keep up the good work, stay safe, stay hopeful, and kick ass for as long as you can! ;D
Some time ago I found really weird thing with the ai, if you get the "kill enemy commander" Mission on lost map, you can let lost activate everyone and if you are still in hiding all enemies will just gather in one spot just begging to be blowed up
Oh, looks like i was doing the save the hostage mission the wrong way, i was trying to sneak to everybody, and one of the 3 bosses came and revealed my squad. Cool i guess i have to kill all the enemies before grabbing the Vip
Feels like War of the chosen is a Time loop for seth, Everytime we win everything starts all over again, Just a little different. War never changes i guess.
First off, I'm glad you're doing alright. It's been a tough year for everyone, I think. Hope your mental health gets better soon- I know what that's like. Second, I don't mind the wait. So far, your videos have made the wait worth it. I don't mind not seeing any more Shadow of War. I love the game, myself, but it gets very same-y, very quick. Plus, as unique as many of the Uruks and Ologs are, you're more likely to find the standard, run of the mill captains that have no unique traits or personalities. Anyway, glad you're doing relatively well.
In regards to the intro, good to hear. Go at your own pace man. I doubt most of us really care if there are big gaps between your vids, it's been like that for a fair bit now. Also, the more motivated you are to do the videos, the better they usually are, so it's a win-win situation. At any rate, I wish you a not terrible end of the year, as the universe has clearly decided that good was not going to be part of 2020's vocabulary.
Good to see you again seth, but if you need to take more time to get everything to a minimal good standard take that time, your best work wasnt made overnight.
Seth we are all good to wait as long as you need take care of yourself my man
Indeed
Sad about SoW. Wanted to see your reaction to the endings or the dlcs with the human mercenaries.
But Seth is back.
For the chosen, He is a hack
Oh god Central broke his back
C'mon Commander. Let's get back on track
...I have mixed feelings on Central's back problems...
Also, yeah, shame about SoW, but better for our dood to work on stuff he's got passion for. =P
Prioritize yourself over us Seth, We want you to be better we LOVE the video's but we care about you, So don't worry about us unless you feel perfectly fine don't worry about it and keep yourself in good health, Best of luck my friend.
Welcome back commander !!!

Hey, regarding mental health, as someone who's been having to deal with a lot of dysphoria and loneliness over the period of my city's quarantine, please, please, please take care of yourself first and foremost.
I personally find your content fun because of how jolly and easy going you are, it just radiates a sort of joyous energy, poor care of mental health will just kill it.
Our enjoyment of your content is based on your enjoyment to make it.
Amen to that!!! Seth, look after yourself homie.
Well said, Sir or Madam, well spoken.
Remember kids, if you're depressed, just stop being sad!
@Wesley Ward I appreciate the input, but you have no idea what you're talking about.
@Louis van der Merwe Let it all out.
"he gonna be out for 3 weeks im sure"
Oh yeah after all those headshots im sure he dislocated his shoulder
8:07 "There is no cap on the amount of offensive actions that ADVENT can take on their turn *unlike all the other difficulties below it"*
... there's a CAP?
My thoughts exactly.
That explains why when im like "omg this dude is definetly gonna kill me" and he does nothing or just moves and im like okay? cool I guess
Been playing on the Veteran difficulty for a while and I've yet to see the cap
It’s really cool to watch Seth run through possibilities and explain his reasoning for each and every action he takes. He really has earned the title of Commander.
"The computer is cheating"

Hey, Makes the fight all so more Real. Instead of a predictive foe, You have a completely random enemy to fight every time, Becoming more so smart to your bullshit and tactics and learning.
Self evolving A.I is the best enemy A.I makes them all the more interesting to face off against.
It does also cheat in your favour as well.
Can I get a link please? I'm just interested
In war, do whatever it takes to win.
I was there in twitch for that first mission.
Its incredible to see 1 hour of my viewing time being compressed to 13 mins ish.
24:30 Seth: *Complains about wounded Rangers*
Volk: So, there's this mission I need you to do, I'll give you a free Ranger-
*Seth takes off at lightning speed*
Thanks for the video, and be sure to take care of yourself. As you said, this year especially has been vey hard on almost everybody; your wellbeing, mentally and physically, comes first.
I will never forget timeline 9, the absolute broken stream, and the funny moments we had
During squad concealment, the aliens are scripted to gradually close in if you spend too long in it. (About 10-15 turns). I have only just recently stumbled across your videos and I got to say I love your sense of humour. I just might subscribe at this rate
Super to finally see xcom from you again!
I just found you a couple weeks ago while randomly looking for Subnautica videos. The sectoid moved to that position because it was activated by the reaper but didn't have any targets so was just randomly moving
Yesssss. Also wow, a Niko Bellic voice pack on XCOM 2. Something I didnt expect to see today but not unwelcome.
Welcome back to the land of the living. If you're interested, there is a game called Empire of Sin coming out which promises to be like XCOM but set during the prohibition in Chicago. It looks like it will be interesting to watch, and I would be interested in seeing it on the channel.
Good to see you back in business.

I know nothing about XCOM, but watching Sethorven is always fun, regardless of the game
Sorry to hear things haven't been great for you lately. Thank you for providing good entertainment despite that. I appreciate the effort you put into editing your videos.
pls do more this was so much fun to watch

I know you mentioned your own struggles, let me just say I two have been having mental issues. But seeing that you've uploaded? It genuinely made me smile and just instantly go "yes!". So thanks for coming back to content!
I always found zombies silly in xcom, you have heated energy blasts that do 3 to 5 damage, and then a quick smack that does 8.
Which zombos you referring to? The lost, I can't explain, but the sectiod zombies kinda get a pass considering that they have psionic energy running through them.
@@windrider2190 yeah, the sectoids could be explained, but lost and chryssalyd zombies just dont make sense
When I see a video of you it makes me happy. No matter it took 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or a year to come out.
I really liked your Subnautica stuff, so full support for this new brand of Sethorven :) Do whatever makes you happy.
I don't blame you for not going with SOW. It took brett to start over for him to do it again. I even started over again and Had a lot more fun than I used to.
Glad to see you making more of this, and that you're settling in :) take care of yourself
Welcome back Seth, your playthroughs of XCom 2 have been inspirational to me and i have embarked on my own series for my channel, lets just say not going well but still in the fight but only just. Wooh! The first new Gameplay video since I subscribed. Looking forward to more stuff.
"-and class what did we learn from this?" "Get the Lost to do all the work for you?" "YES."
While it's a shame to hear about Shadow of War, I'm glad to still see you going at XCOM 2 as well as your other projects. You're narratives pretty damn great listening to.

Blessed day to had Seth going with another Xcom serie ... *chef kiss*
Also be good pal, you deserve it for the great work you did, like OEM.
I have never laughed so hard watching an Xcom video before. That whole lost / Advent part was hilarious. Great editing as well. It made it even better. XD

Welcome back Commander! As long as you don't stop I don' mind the waiting.
I thought the video had a delay cuz he knew he missed but the intermission cleared things up. Nice
Good to see you back man, take care of yourself in these times. We will be here for you ;)
its good too see ur doing good during our finest year
RIP SoW, loved it but I'll get over it eventually. Take as much time as you need so you can recover, man.
Okay, so GREAT to see you back Seth, and always love seeing some XCOM, it’s the usual wholesome craziness that we all love 😂. *see seth doing Xcom again*: oh no he gonna commit war crime
*realised that geneva convention not included alien*: dO iT
Trust me Seth, I understand why it took so long, also nice to know OEM is feeling better
Dude, take as long as you need to and do whatever you have to in order to get your stuff together. We've waited this long for your videos and we can wait a little longer still.
its all good man, this year was tough on all of us, take as much time as you need. Best wishes!
That first part of the Lost mission was so freaking funny
Recently went through a move and other stuff myself and took a hit mentally. Hope getting back in the recording seat helps you improve your mental health. I'm sure i speak for a few of your viewers when i say having you back doing videos will sure help our mental health :P
Take your time man. Don't even need to finish the video to know its gonna be great.
That Lord Shaxx "FIGHT FOREVER GUARDIAN!!!" line made me so happy. I did not know there was a voice pack of him
Glad to see you back Seth! We missed you, but never forget that real life comes first. We can be patient if you ever need to put things back on hold.
it` s an Honor to hear from you again Commender, but take your time Xcom will stand its ground a little longer just for you
Seth, come on man... you got to take care of yourself.
Hope the rest of this year goes better for you and hopefully next year won't be so *quack*
In other news, this reminded me that I have to play WOTC again. Cheers.
HE HAS RETURNED TO GRACE US WITH CONTENT!!!!
For real though Seth you take all the time you need man we appreciate you
Seth we love you your health is the most important thing, take care of ya self lad
Glad to have you back, Seth. As always, give 'em hell, Commander.
HE LIVES. In all seriousness man, take as much time as you need. Better to have you be less frequent but firing on all cylinders than you running yourself down to upload more than your comfortable with. That said, sounds like we can expect a bit more with you being a little more settled.
We love you bro, take as much time as you need :)
That last mission is perfect start to finish
The voices you have on the troops kill me every time lol. This is a great series Seth!
Hi Seth I love your content and you inspired me to get XCOM 2. Take all the time in the world I would rather have good content when you are feeling well then content for content sake.
We're all here for you man, take your time!
WE must all support our creator, we all support you, we know you need some time man- get better and get good sethy, we are all here together.
My guy take all the time you need if you what to, we can wait for you it has been hard for all of us as well
take it easy, we don't care about the gap in content if you take a break, your content is worth the wait, and your mental health is much more important than content
No matter how time pass we will still like watching you playing sir! ^_^
*spits water involuntarily*
It's been TWO YEARS SINCE I LAST WATCHED AN XCOM SERIES!?
As cj once said " aw shit, here we go again"
*Sees announcements* No, no no!
*After announcements* Oh thank God. Blue Magoo ISN'T canceled.
Hell yeah! I love XCOM keep it up seth!
Glad to have you back, Commander Seth! And yeah, it's been quite a shit year, but, atleast you only have to experience them once! And I've got a feeling the next one's gonna be loads better! Keep up the good work, stay safe, stay hopeful, and kick ass for as long as you can! ;D
Some time ago I found really weird thing with the ai, if you get the "kill enemy commander" Mission on lost map, you can let lost activate everyone and if you are still in hiding all enemies will just gather in one spot just begging to be blowed up
Imagine if twitch chat could invade your game, like your doing ok on a mission so far but suddenly the enemy becomes player controlled for 5 turns.
YES PLS
Heck yeah! Sethcom returns! And as rng as ever!
Ironman Legend sounds too... formal.
How about?
Legendary man
Take care of yourself man! Also, looking forwards to more of your videos, and more chimera squad hopefully
Here we go. Let’s see how many timeline hops it takes to win

At any rate, I wish you a not terrible end of the year, as the universe has clearly decided that good was not going to be part of 2020's vocabulary.
My boy, do take your time man, you deserve to take care of yourself
what's the mod that colours your actions I like it? great to see you back on xcom 2 bro I love it!
From my experience rangers are always the going to be the injures one
Your new apartment looks fuckin sick. Im straight jealous bro.
Take your time Seth! :) Family and yourself come first. What mods do you use btw? :)
On a continuing note, Apply bacon to the stomach. It helps.
Good to see you again seth, but if you need to take more time to get everything to a minimal good standard take that time, your best work wasnt made overnight.
YESSSSSS HE'S BACK WOOOOOO(also you BETTER be taking whatever time you need on your mental health)
