About what Alex says at the end, my game had been stuttering really badly throughout this session and my car was freezing for a split second on the track. I suspect that when this happened it was also briefly pausing the game timer, and because the game bases your finishing position off your total race time, it gave me the position over Gliscor (even though she was well ahead of me at the line)
I was thinking about the Subaru livery on Ewan’s car about 10 seconds before Alex called it out. Once he mentioned it, I suddenly remembered seeing the GT40 Gulf livery in the first race as well.
Alex seemed so fast with the Saleen, unfortunate events just kept happening & ruining his races but he was flying at the Indy track even without the optimal tires.
Didn't get to take part in the Saleen's cos my game instead of giving me the update, decided I had to reinstall the entire game again so I missed that evening
I lost my controller vibration L1 of R3 and was desperately hoping it would actually make it to the end. But it did make me slower and more cautious unfortunately
As I am a non-controller-player, can you explain? Are you saying you drive differently when your controller vibration doesn't work? Why is that? Does the vibration indicate some level of grip you're about to lose so that helps you keep the car on the border of sliding out without actually sliding out, or was it just because it felt weird and kept distracting you?
@@NFSHeld It's more for the brakes, it helps you know when you're locking up, a maybe little for when you're losing traction a bit. But more it's just different, and also distracting in that I was worried it would run out lol
@@NFSHeld the triggers vibrate based on grip. Horizon 5 has a bug that stops all vibration if I disconnected my wired controller so when that happened i had to restart the game. The difference the feedback makes is absolutely massive and it feels like you're just guessing how much to brake and accelerate when playing without it.
Challenge: Casual Kart Mode - run a race with decent cars (b+ preferably) but play like the average mario kart player, so you aren't allowed to use the break button! I imagine things would be all over the place as people try to figure out what speeds they can get upto and still be able to decelerate naturally to take corners in time to not fly off the track. Potentially allow contact so you can use each other as breaks if it turns out to be really rough to slow down for corners in the higher classes.

Man, I need to find a group of friends that would be willing to do stuff like this! Fantastic racing and good fun to watch
These didn't drive quite to my tastes but they were really good fun to race! Annoyed I threw it in the gravel at Eaglerock though :(
It happens Olley, to me too often because I brake late. Just eager I guess.

I think Ericewansson hit us through the final corner.
I love this concept. You guys should setup events that mirror real championships too. IMSA MX5 Cup perhaps...

When the real danger is not the opponent you are fighting on track, but the cat that appeared in your room knocking stuff over!

Wow I didn't know vibration was so sophisticated already. Thanks for explaining. 🤍
The first track needs to be used with jelly cars!
It's a shame Longbow touched the wall in the first race, but an all-around great vid!
That was fun to watch. Great racing!
hello, glad to see more saleen content!
you should do some homemade gt4 cars, i think that would be entertaining
That was a good fight
you should do some oval racing at some point
First track would be great for a replica freedom 500 or 2.4hrs of lemullets 😂😂😂
Is Impega really 66 years old?
Why is liam at p class on thw 1st race?
I normally despise one-make races, but I think the ballast systems adds an interesting element.

We have done no brake racing before, usually then you slow down with excessive downshifting and some handbrake
oh have some vague memory of that >
Anyone notice the leaderboards are bugged, like Alex was in 5th yet only 3 cars in front, then in 2nd yet same 3 cars in front
Alex said he set the leader board wrong (suspect maybe it was fastest lap?)
Video 17 of asking Alex to play trackmania until he does
video 1 of balancing this out with a NO THANKS
Dude needs to use cockpit cam...
