There is something about Autumn, when Summer fades and leaves start falling down, that always puts this song in my head. I also felt like it was the perfect song to play on this "Smoothtalker" Guitar from Mervyn Davis Guitars... both because the body shape is reminiscent of some of Prince's famous guitars, but also because the ease of playing and high fret access allows for a more "electric" guitar approach to this kind of acoustic fingerstyle arrangement.

Justin is that rare person. He not only feels what he plays; he translates that expressiveness into a language everyone understands.
I agree, the day I found Justin I was amazed by his talent and his continuing generosity to share his gifts at a time when challenges of the times sap our energy. Justin is a true Master of guitar and beautiful soul.
He's not the best in the world.
The best in the world is usually some unknown guy, waiting to be found, or happily playin on their front porch.
I was a contemporary student of Jack Jones, and I've seen a LOT of prodigies. They come and go, and the world is a very big place.
We were very lucky to have studied with Australia's premier guitar teacher, Tony Calabro.
But Justin is definitely a class act.
And I'd estimate he's in the top one percentage of the world's best guitarists.
And I think Justin would be generous enough of heart and honest enough to agree with me.
I love watching Justin.
Prince was a great musician and is probably grinning from ear to ear hearing what you did to one of his most Iconic songs. Your style and fluidity is unrivaled by modern day pickers, sir! Simply amazing 👏! Thanks for sharing.

When you can "FEEL" the song as its being performed, you are listening to a Genius. I can imagine Prince ginning ear to ear listening to your rendition. Then pull up next to you with his acoustic to join.
