"I am targeting my peak performance for the Olympics," said Annu Rani after winning gold in javelin throw at the Interstate with her best throw of 57.70m in her 3rd attempt
Her target was 64m, the qualification mark for the #ParisOlympics, but she will qualify through her world ranking as she is currently 19th/32 on the #RoadToParis2024.
Last season, she crossed the 60m mark once with a best throw of 62.92m, earning India's first gold and only medal in women's javelin at the #AsianGames.
This season, she also crossed 60m once with a season-best of 60.68m.
