My secret weapon bit of kit is my fanny pack! In it I keep everything I need for orchestra: tuner, rosin(s), one smaller rag to wipe rosin off my strings, one microfiber cloth to wipe my FB and bass, string lube, finger nail clipper, pencil, mutes, ear plugs, tube of pain relievers, super glue for spilt callus repair, several cough drops, a few biz cards. My bow "case" is reduced to a simple padded sleeve that's lightweight and slips in bass bag pocket. Fanny pack can be strapped around my stool.

I've had the single bow case from lemur music, it has lasted for over 15 years, I only had to replace the leather strips. No room for rosin, just your bow and pen but its durability is priceless.

Some of my favorite less expensive bow cases have been fishing pole cases for French bows and art or poster tubes. They are usually good for a single bow, but I can carry two German bows in my art tube. Fishing pole tubes are often padded inside. I have a soft bow case inside my art tube.

I carry my bows in the compartments of my bass bag that are made just for that purpose. Carrying a separate container for bows means one additional thing to have to keep up with going to and from the gig.
Add that to music folders, stands, pedals, cables, etc., and it usually translates into something being left behind, making a return trip in either direction to retrieve it a huge pain in the "arpeggio." Ask me how I know! No wait, don't ask. 😖🤣

The strap of my brand new Protec A228 failed the first time I use it... So your video is spot on ! The problem is, finding a nice case for a French Bow in France is a PITA... and most US shop don't ship to Europe... So, I don't really know where to look...
