If you use double tap to sprint on default binds you can start running from inside the box and also auto sprint without using your left stick (besides the double tap) which also allows you to change your heal wheel on the run It's kinda hard to get used to

2.strafing(keep it in the middle but be unpredictable)
3. centering/crosshair placement
4. vibration (also preference)
5. movement looting
6. hipfire!
7. practice right stick tracking
8. overclocking (pc controller tip)
9. micro positioning
10. recoil smoothing!

scrappy i just watched this & your controller settings video after trying a bunch of different ALC's from different (still great) content creators but my first 4 games on mixtape on with 4-4 classic no deadzone I've been consistently either highest damage most kills or in the top 3 & dying 10x less THANK U
I'm so heavy handed on my thumbsticks i thought I just had to suck it up & get better about it but your suggestion of settings for ppl with twitchy thumbs is a fucking godsend ily

Idk why but I tryed the sense and did new drills in the firing range and when I went to play I was kill leader every time and ranked easily didn’t get blessed with team8s tho thx scrappy

The new GameSir G7 SE is the best controller to fight off stick drift because of their Hall Effect Joysticks. The sticks also feel smooth. Best controller I’ve played with

Keeping your crosshair centered is the BIGGEST issue I see within the community while spectating my random teammates I always see them aiming at the ground and it gets them killed a lot

I run 5-4 linear on controller works perfectly for me. I have been playing shooters for 30 years so ez for me.

What are your key binds?
I'm a PC mnk player but randomly got a PS5 the other week. I of course downloaded Apex since it's free and I gave it a whirl with the controller on console. My question is this... I game on a 24" 240hz 1080p on my PC but my PS5 is hooked up to the 65" TV. What is a transferrable sensitivity for such a large screen? Feel like 4/4 4/3 linear is WAY too slow on my big ol screen lmao.
i wouldnt play on a tv that large
Imo I used to play On very large TV and still got predator multiple times. Running a slow sense is good for accuracy across long distance but if you want flick shots or like to push a lot then play high sense. Just set your FOV to max and then choose your sensitivity. Also deadzone helps with recoil control alot but if you’re a movement and aim type person then play linear no deadzone 4-3.

9:58-10:04 talking on recoil smoothing but on the Hand cam you weren't touching your left stick. Were you solely doing the recoil pattern there on the right stick or was there a reason for the thumb placement on the left? The beams were insane with no strafe!

His response curve is near linear , so his stick is much more responsive , hence response curve , it needs less input initially to control recoil , but feels twitchyer lol is that a word?😅
Linear doesn't feel like linear for me for some reason feels like I'm fighting the dam right stick to stay down on alc I burley have to move it down to control the recoil
5:25 i may be wrong but i'm 90% sure that ads with smg strafe the same speed as hip fire
Its is not , looks dif bc the fov changes. But pc peeps have velocity data available in game, seen mokey sniper using it to get max speeds of movement tech

Currently using a old tv I had for ages and wanna upgrade as I have ps5 now. What are some great competitive monitors to use that aren’t like a grand 😂
go for at least 144hz.. panel type is up to u.. and 24/25 inch is a sweet spot and not too expensive
bought a 30$= gamepad that have paddle in the back and that have a vibration settings and also i can make it detected as a xbox controller or nintendo or classic gamepad. ems controller the best cheap controller

The stick drift thing is really annoying... I don't think we have that warranty here in Germany at gamestop but I can surely ask.
Cause I had my PS5 since december and my stick is already fcked up. I wonder if Xbox controllers do a better job
I have issues hitting L3 and R3 on accident. They have caused many deaths. But I can't find a way to disable them on PS5.
I would change R3 to crouch.

I accidentally always press the R2 button which is fire all the time and I end up doing the Melee while moving. Also reaching O to crouch is difficult for me. Do you have any advice ?
