Just a tip for mantle jumps for anyone who can't do them even after watching this video. Think of mantle jumps as a 2 part sequence. The first sequence is going on the zip and mantling the ledge, as soon as you mantle the ledge hold W. As soon as your person starts to climb over the ledge. The second sequence will be to hold S (backwards) look down, interact with zip, then jump.
@@Truefuze7248 hold interact key the whole time...let go of W press S but never let go of interact so as soon as you press S super jump input and youll stick it everytime ez. also you don't have to look down for the most part, its easier to do it where you look up instead of down so practice looking up first thennnnn start doing it down.
Lemon ive never touched a keyboard in my life , took me about 80 hours to understand all the tech you showed us there im working on superglide strafe , hopefully arround 100 hrs of game play ill be consistent on superglides strafes thank you so much for the tips you literally made me good at m&k thank you so much.
Learning to let go of W was my biggest first step to learning a lot of movement tricks. Now if I can just get better at being laser accurate with my aim, I'm all over the place 😔
All these flashy movement techniques can actually make your aim worse, I often disorient myself and lose track of opponents when trying to show off with wall bounces and tap strafing in actual game
@@ARMAfuckenGEDDONtakes practice. Learning what to expect when you perform these movements and practicing your aim afterwards is what makes this tech so powerful in a fight.
bro this is obviously not easy to do but this video makes it super clear and is really helpful. thank you for demystifying the magic and showing just how good u are!!
yeah looks like I still need a lot of practice I can't quite do the Superglide yet. Congratulations on 100K Leamonhead and Thanks for the movement guide now I hit every wall bounce.
You don't need to look down when you're doing lead jumping from the zip, you can just look the way you want go, press E and Scroll wheel after a split second, so in your example it will launch you on to the platform if you do a simple 180 turn and a lead jump
For anyone who struggles with superglides, it could very well be your keyboard holding you back. You don't have to have a Wooting, but some keyboards are much slower than others. My keyboard has an incredibly sluggish input time. It's borderline impossible to superglide with my keyboard. I actually use my mouse to do superglides because of it. I have a side mouse button bound to crouch(hold) and use the jump on my scroll wheel instead of trying to press c/v and space keys.
@EMM524 how u liking it so far? U think it's worth it, if I order one now it should come in January. I'm debating between buying a 50$ keyboard or the wooting bc I also really want a apex account so idk if I should get the wooting or a apex acc with like wraith heirloom and cutting edge r9 and other really good stuff
FINALLY! I've been waiting for this! Your guide is very comprehensive and easy to follow. Thank you Leamohead! i also own a wooting, i figured out that keycaps profile also affects movement. OEM keycaps are good for superglide so you dont have to turn your spacebar on the opposite way.
For making superglide timing easier, when you're clambering up from a climb, you'll see your screen shake down then up. immediately after the screen FINISHES shaking upwards and looks normal, that's when you hit the inputs for supergliding, immediately after the screen goes back to normal. It's a small window but once you get it you'll be hitting superglides consistently. As for the inputs for supergliding, just set up a macro that has jump and crouch with a slight delay between the two. I hit them nearly every single time, makes supergliding easy as hell.
Hey, I love your videos. May I ask what your DPI is please? So that I can decide if I should lower or higher mine in order to have have Insane Movement and great aim like you, my Movement is quite good, but not like yours.
Thanks for the guide. But I hope in part 2, you can explain more about how you maintain momentum. Example, How you can continuously bounce and strafe around after a superglide, while shooting and more. I think this is probably the most important factor separating a good movement player from others.
Oh and also, if possible, when exactly to utilize movement. I know that seems like a stupid question - use it whenever you can. But for us new learners of movement, I feel like it's always a problem where you try to use movement and you end up throwing, but when better players use movement, it synergizes well with what they want. It almost always looks like their movement is so well timed and catches the enemies off guard. And no, I do not put myself in the open and try to strafe for no reason / superglide into a full team of 3. 😅
@@frozenkuku Wait for better tips and players to answer, but here is small tips from someone who only knows air strafing but can do it decently now after 700 hours of total game time. I do it with scroll forwards bound to move forwards. Strafe to get around corners with a sharper angle. This can suprise enemies or make it easier to chase down people after you have cracked their shield and they try to run away. It can also help you escape by making it easier to land on things under a platform you jump of of if you get a sharp strafe enough. You are also harder to hit in the air while strafing and will also get closer to a wall of a building if you strafe jump down from it. And if and enemy jumps after you and they don't strafe they will have to turn alot more to shoot you, giving you maybe half a seconds advantage to kill them in the air. Strafe for general traversel. This lets you get into positions you couldn't before, but also using it when you normally move around lets you train the technique more = you getting better faster. Same principle as new players should fight as much as possible to get better at shooting. Also when using movement and failing/throwing, analyze after what actually made it a throw. Was it that you failed the movement, was it a bad idea to begin with, did it actually put you in a dangerous position etc etc. If you failed the movement tech, go into training and try to replicate the move. If it was a bad idea, try to figure out a better one or just make sure you understand why it was a bad idea. And lastly, every movement should have a purpose. If you don't have a purpose for it, don't do it. When you go up in hours (you might've more then me but take this generally) these things come quite natural. But before that train and improve with intent of what you want to achieve. Don't just grind, grind with a goal. That way you imprint good habits into your brain that can then go on auto pilot. That is how guys like Fade and Lemonhead get so good. They don't think that much, they just do.
Honestly, the thing you do that fascinated me most is that you don't hold a side direction when tap strafing. It seems more difficult without holding down a side input.
DEF check out @PhazonShadowz he breaks it down in such a unique way even shows you frame timings and tricks to force muscle memory. Even backwards glides
