I'm a software engineer; I Came with a Job with 80k CAD first, then got another Job with 120k CAD. The amount is indeed a lot of money. But It is not worth it. I had around 2 lakh salary back in Kochi and was happy there. If you start spending money, you will end up having no savings. Both husband and wife must work here to keep up the Canadian lifestyle. If i stay here for another year my son will not be able to move back because education in India is very tough when compared to that of Canada. So I'm moving back. Canada is a dull and depressing country. Most children would have stayed in Kerala if our society was less conservative. I think people are escaping the culture.
@@ElevatedSoul98 You are right, but it is not easy. There are a few catches here. 1. You have to get a PR, and I am not sure how many more months I must wait to get it. 2. Most companies have a clause that the work needs to be done in Canada. You can travel back and forth but you need to be in Canada for majority of time. 3. The interview process is pretty complex; the last job interview had 5 rounds. 4. The competition is very high here because fewer jobs and more people are searching for jobs. 5. Finally, i was fed up with everything and i resigned the job because it was very hectic, i lost my LMIA and 50 points. and now there are no chances of getting a PR. I don't see the effort worth it.. Like if i decide to put the same effort in dubai, i would have been much better now..

If you want to be extremely safe take citizenship apply for OCI and go to India. With OCI you can work in India

I beg to differ.I’m talking about Australia. I’m a teacher here for almost 35 years. High school education is free. Job opportunity is not bad after HSC. If you want to go For tertiary education, there is HECS( higher education contribution scheme) where govt will pay your university fees when you’re studying. Later on when you start working they will take an amount each month from you on the basis of the money you earn. Only when you start earning..! My children did that. First hand experience.

I appreciate you said that you don't personally know anyone who has gone to India. People talk a lot about reverse migration but how many have exactly gone? Engineers and doctors have a good lifestyle in India as well but what about the mediocre employees in India. They are also not able to save anything. Cost of living in Indian cities incliding Kochi is very high for ordinary people.. They are not able to save anything. Both in India and Gulf both the couples are working in order to save money. So it's not just Canada. In India also, anyone who has taken home loan is indebted for 15-20 years. I have 2 of my friends who moved abroad just to finish off repaying their housing loan. Can an average earning person have the same standard/quality of life in India as in Canada? I agree with you on health care. India is far ahead, but again its for the ones who can afford it only.

I'm a software engineer; I Came with a Job with 80k CAD first, then got another Job with 120k CAD. The amount is indeed a lot of money. But It is not worth it. I had around 2 lakh salary back in Kochi and was happy there. If you start spending money, you will end up having no savings. Both husband and wife must work here to keep up the Canadian lifestyle. If i stay here for another year my son will not be able to move back because education in India is very tough when compared to that of Canada.
So I'm moving back. Canada is a dull and depressing country.
Most children would have stayed in Kerala if our society was less conservative. I think people are escaping the culture.

1. You have to get a PR, and I am not sure how many more months I must wait to get it.
2. Most companies have a clause that the work needs to be done in Canada. You can travel back and forth but you need to be in Canada for majority of time.
3. The interview process is pretty complex; the last job interview had 5 rounds.
4. The competition is very high here because fewer jobs and more people are searching for jobs.
5. Finally, i was fed up with everything and i resigned the job because it was very hectic, i lost my LMIA and 50 points. and now there are no chances of getting a PR.
I don't see the effort worth it.. Like if i decide to put the same effort in dubai, i would have been much better now..

If it doesn’t go back to Canada. You would be ok as long as you stay 3 year out of 5 year in Canada for your pr renewal. Friend, u really gave a true picture to those who are blindly coming to Canada. We came to canada 24yrs back from south africa. We are retired, built our own house & has settled. Still everyday we remember about that country- what a beautiful life we had in South Africa. 24yrs back Toronto was so much different. Everything was cheap or affordable.There was law & order everywhere. .Now it's so scary. Yes we see some bloggers giving a wrong impression especially to students. I know one couple specially. Watching their video, anyone can say they are bluffing, trying to collect money through this. Its a big blunder presently to come to canada, selling all their property. We have heard some of them saying- " shouldn't have come" Thanku once again. Keep up the good work. God bless you.

I beg to differ.I’m talking about Australia. I’m a teacher here for almost 35 years. High school education is free. Job opportunity is not bad after HSC. If you want to go For tertiary education, there is HECS( higher education contribution scheme) where govt will pay your university fees when you’re studying. Later on when you start working they will take an amount each month from you on the basis of the money you earn. Only when you start earning..! My children did that. First hand experience.

I appreciate you said that you don't personally know anyone who has gone to India. People talk a lot about reverse migration but how many have exactly gone? Engineers and doctors have a good lifestyle in India as well but what about the mediocre employees in India. They are also not able to save anything. Cost of living in Indian cities incliding Kochi is very high for ordinary people.. They are not able to save anything. Both in India and Gulf both the couples are working in order to save money. So it's not just Canada. In India also, anyone who has taken home loan is indebted for 15-20 years. I have 2 of my friends who moved abroad just to finish off repaying their housing loan. Can an average earning person have the same standard/quality of life in India as in Canada? I agree with you on health care. India is far ahead, but again its for the ones who can afford it only.
