When Jason died, Salim stayed behind for 3+ hours, and just grieved over the loss of his new found friend (or so I assume, seeing as Jason was told it would take 4 or more hours for them to get there. So Salim must have chosen to stay). Salim had the option to walk away
The 3+ hours is the first ending in the vid, and salim managed to get back to his son. 2nd ending where he got picked up by the helicopter is when the radio was fixed and the helicopter is 5 mins from their position. So salim wont be detained in the end if the radio stays broken

But it was not true, and a lot of countries in UN call them out on their bullshit. USA Army decides to find something else to justify but in the end, what a surprise, there was no "justifiable" reason for invading Irak. I think it was a nice thing to add the real issue of this conflict in the game. They even used a obscure company trope to add some "true" villains.

The great, smart and strong character, that managed to cooperate with his enemies to survive and is only one who used melee weapon, not just good, but more effective than other people with range weapons. And, at the end, he just burn his goal and work to the ground and surrender, even soldiers didn't search for him! He just forget about his son, meaning of his life, that helped him to find motivation to survive so many times! This is the most fucking stupid ending in this game, why they even add it.

I enjoyed it, but the last scene ... It was just stupid. To be clear : US Army decided to do an operation in a day where they knew an eclipse could will happens and hinder their mission. No one going out remembered an eclipse was due today. The vampires let the heroes out of the caves without attacking them, and waited for the eclipse to go out and fight them. The story was great up to that point but this fight is BS.
