- The Peddars Way is a 79km (49 miles) trail through Norfolk. The Peddars Way is an ancient route, tracing back to the Romans constructing part of it in AD61, resulting in an almost straight route from Knettishall Heath near Thetford to the Norfolk coast at Holme-next-the-Sea.
I intended to continue with the Norfolk Coast Path, as the Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path together form a 130 mile National Trail, but an ankle injury meant I had to pause my hike once I finished the Peddars Way. Hopefully I will be able to walk the Norfolk Coast path sections soon.
Thanks for making this film Lianne, the Paddars Way is on my to-do list so I found it really interesting. Your efforts deserve so many more subscribers though...hope your ankle is better, and I look forward to watching you complete the Norfolk Coast Path in the near future.
Thanks for your kind comment!
hehe - 95m trig point! That's Naarfolk for ya!
Did you discover what was wrong with your foot ? Probs the road walking, as you say. Watch out for Plantar Fasciitis (tearing sensation under/behind your foot) - have a stretching routine, if you don't already.
Interesting history of the tracks off the Icknield Way.
Interesting to see, thanks for sharing, Lianne
After resting a couple of days, it got much better and almost healed now, so I didn't see a doctor, but I think it's footballer's ankle and definitely because of all the tarmac paths.

Yes, I'm all good now, thanks :) I've never been in the area of St Cyrus beach, but looks stunning!
