7 years ago my brother was given 3 - 5 years to live due to prostate cancer. Not once did he bemoan his situation but lived his life to the fullest. He remained totally active and positive almost until his last day. He passed away last week with instructions that no one be sad and his funeral be a riot of colour and laughter. Staying positive is a real help.
A very moving interview with Hayden (football completely aside). I have learned to be kind to others because you literally don't know what they might be experiencing in their own life. I wish Hayden the very best going forward.
9 years ago (in my early 40s) I was also peeing blood. After having the cystoscopy 😳 and a scan, cancer was found in the ureter, the tube that connects the kidney with the bladder. I had to have the ureter and kidney removed - also in theatre for over 8 hours! Sadly I had to miss my sister’s wedding in Cyprus as I wasn’t fit to fly. Every year I have a cystoscopy to check my bladder as it was an aggressive cancer but so far so good - keep talking lads and good luck with your journey Hayden MOT
Enjoyed his insights on how his agency works. I don't share his perspective on the limits of criticism. The only no-go area., to mind, is withdrawl of active support for whoever happens to be on the field .
Hi guys, to say much of this was non football related, I was gripped on every word that Hayden said regarding his diagnosis and treatment. A remarkable show thank you 🙌
What a fantastic episode guys well done, I love the podcast you make me cry with laughter, but this was a heart warming real life story, Hayden. Huge respect to you 💙
Thank you for sharing Hayden A subject too many of us try to ignore the signs, if on doubt check it out especially of you ahve a family history of Prostate cancer
Not listened to the whole podcast yet but was Hayden in dare to dream? Bill Fortherby used to rinse him for sponsorship money when we was doing well in the early 90s? Top man!
Max Dean was like the Joffy and Greenwood understudy and had to wait for his chance but got the feeling the kids Bielsa brought in were not looked after when Bielsa went. Young Max was always a baller and learnt a lot from Joffy.
Bats lives near me in north Yorkshire. See him out with his dogs. I probably make him nervous with the fact I'm always wearing Leeds gear. I try not to annoy him and just give him a now then Bats in passing. It's very difficult for me coz he is one of my favourite players ever.
My nickname is fill ya bag 😉 I don't fart anymore,no skid marks now,can wear me boxers for three days without turning em inside out now... Fantastic share Haydon 👏👏🫂 As if I needed anything to tell me TSB is a brilliant show, this one in particular has plucked my heart strings...💛💙🤍 Lads/Lasses if you've ever got an issue, please fucking please speak to your mate/family/stranger...!! I am the biggest hideaway from humans,I hate us & don't trust us,but, I feel free & at home with 36k Leeds fans who've all got my back... Met an Irish lad not long after losing my daughter,he reminded me about my passion & a life... I was smashing everything up,my home & relationships... Leeds United and my mate above, gave me a window to run through...💪 Just talk to anyone You're all important to someone 👌

Life is precious, every minute of it. Your brother knew this. Thank you for sharing.
It's great to hear that he lived his life to the fullest and you were able to be there too.

Thanks Hayden

Supporting Leeds is like being in a loveless marriage. You know it's bad for you but you continue anyway.
Atleast the loveless marriage has tax benefits!
Hayden should have a word with simon jordan and maybe give him a point on the other side when it comes to agents
Tough to stay positive after 20+ years of watching Leeds 😂
