@@DrTerriAlani Well, I made a trip to Miami from Dallas just to receive an unreversable tooth damaging smile design plan. (Thank goodness I said No.)I can surely find my way to Houston for a more gentle dental smile correction plan. I have a decent smile
I just need something similar and I have seen 3 dentist in the last month. Not one offered something comparable 🥴

Thank you for this video. Trying to fix your smile can be so overwhelming. From the price tag, the discomfort and the difference in opinions you receive. I been at this process inconsistently because of my dental insurance and out of pocket cost, but thank you for your message. DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR SMILE. That’s so encouraging!🥰

Hi I got temp dentures/uppers but I can’t stand the poly grip after I take them out it’s got and gross ..also tried that thermal stuff u have to boil but it wouldn’t work so I don’t wear them...Q?...is there anything else that will help them to stay in without that gross stringy stuff left in my mouth?
so with a good set of fitting dentures, you should not have to use any adhesives...with that being said, if you have lost bone on the lower jaw, then either a few implants or locaters will be necessary for a better fit....If there is not substantial bone on the lower, unfortunately the adhesives are your only solution and the fact that they are sticky helps them stay in....I would advise gargling with warm water or a mouth rinse such as Scope..Mouthwash will loosen the adhesive..hope this helps!

I've checked with so many dentist and the cost is unbareable so I've looked into going south of the border to see what they have to offer.
the only reason Not to go south of the border is if or when there are any complications....and that can happen quite often with implants ..I do not know what your situation is but the materials used are at times, not the best ...It really depends on what you would be going there for....I always say, stay away from discounts on parachutes, heart surgery and dental treatment!!
@@DrTerriAlani I have cracked teeth, i have holes which my teeth are splitting, missing teeth, and it cost too much in the US to even try to fix some of the issues. Sometimes we must make sacrificies and choose the inexpensive path and pray that things work out.

I would like to try the snap on, my upper arch has 8 veneers which I don't like, the first time I did it it's not what I wanted I told the dentist that am looking for a more bold smile with the intention of going a little bigger than my permanent teeth he did not get what I wanted, the second time he did it without charging me any fee, he told me this time around he would make my veneers wider, when he replace the second sets of veneers, did not see any difference at all, and I just said it's still the Sam's my smile did not change, so dr terri is it possible to get the snap on over my veneers,?

What do y’all think about people now going to Miami to get porcelain veneers? I been needing vaneers since I was a kid but could never afford them so for years I’ve been looking into going out of the country but I’m noticing that Miami is really popular right now for vaneers for 20 porcelain vaneers most people are paying about 10000 which is scary because that’s cheap to me for the United States I’ve always been quoted 20 to 30,000 for veneers here in Texas. supposedly theirs new technology that helps dentist do porcelain vaneers for a lot cheaper here in the U.S but I’m only seeing this in Miami so I’m thinking about going their to save money but I’m scared lol
Great question… Here is the difference and I know this for a fact as I had a patient that wanted to go to Miami so I asked the questions for her via DM to the dentist in Miami... Porcelain veneers should be made from Emax (lithium to silicate) which is a very biogatible, translucent and aesthetic material... Many dentists in Miami use Zirconium as there main material... we do not use this material in the front of the mouth but when doing crowns in the back of the mouth... The simple reason is, it is not translucent, it is not as aesthetic and it is very abrasive to the opposing tooth if not polished perfectly... They dentists in Miami use Zirconia and then overlay it with a bonded materials… I do not believe in this procedure and I think it cuts corners... So do you get what you pay for? Absolutely!
I've almost given up. I am fighting Periodontal Disease. I feel Denture's are my only option even though mre of my teeth are healthy vs unhealthy. I only have four bad teeth

First of all I would find a dentist who you are comfortable with...With that said, make an appointment for a full evaluation....full set of x rays and exam...The dentist will advise you on options and then take it from there...Do not get overwhelmed...baby steps...I do not know if you get regular cleanings but it is so important as gum disease is preventable if caught early....Other factors which can contribute to gum disease are medicines which may dry out your mouth, diabetes and heart disease ...I think you feel better after being evaluated by a dentist...Hope this helps Katherine:)
