@@ReveriePass it took me just at 2 hours of constant trial and error since no one on the OBSRV discord was up but I found some strange fixes (and new issues, followed by new fixes) To get past the DNAS issue, I had to get a DNAS patch for the .iso but, after that, I started getting hit with either a emulation crash & close, or the emulated game freezing. @@ReveriePass Hello. I'm having the same problem as the original poster, but I'm already using Scph-39001 as my bios. Any solutions?
Hello, thank you very much for the video, I just have a problem, the other players are ahead of me online, I think it's compared to the HDD or CD of PCSX2 it reduces the loading of the doors. Do you know how to do it my friend?
I've been following the instructions, it's been very straightforward so far. But when I go to the Previous Connections thing, even after waiting a few minutes just in case, I don't ge tthe login screen when I hit circle, it just goes back to the Network main menu. What am I doing wrong?
I think there is a problem in my iso when I get to net connection it doesn’t go up or down dpad stop working pls can anyone tell me where they installed their Japanese iso
I dont see a Previous Connection option for me?
silly question but what is the difference from area 01 and area 02 and so on
its dead i cant find anybody to play with but ur video truly helped to jump online
I followed this and it doesn't work. Stops at 40 percent on network
Using WiFi? Ethernet? Hotspot?
If you already have a PCSX2 setup with memory cards and stuff, do I still need to download the memory cards?
yeah, it has the network data, but then again you probably don't, you would just have to set it up on your own
How do you get your scores to show on the online rankings and also I cant host any other level than Outbreak (level1) I have finished several games on this level and can't change to below freezing point and no scores show for personal and online rankings?
Thanks
Question is this only co op online? Or can you couch co op on ps2?
Going to try setting this up on my Steam Deck....
Going to be bad ass
I have followed all of the steps but it keeps getting stuck to "Net Connection", unable to switch to "Prev Connection" and as a result of that i cant play online :(
Are you using the correct ISO and are you sure your memory card is in the correct place?
@@ReveriePass I used an iso that was patched to have the English translation already. Would that affect it?
i was having the same issue! and it was because i put the folder "network files" in the memcards, you have to make sure you put the memcard itself and not the whole folder.
HELP! "An error has occurred: xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT"
That means you’re not using the right iso
Hey me and a couple friends have been trying to get this working, but each of us get stuck when it tries to connect to the DNAS. It always gets stuck at 40%. I followed your guide to a T, and unless I messed up somewhere, I got no dice. Any clue what it could be? I know in this video you connect to the DNAS almost instantly, you barely see the screen
DNAS troubles are difficult, it’s mostly an issue with your internet. Are you connecting via a router?
@@ReveriePass it took me just at 2 hours of constant trial and error since no one on the OBSRV discord was up but I found some strange fixes (and new issues, followed by new fixes)
To get past the DNAS issue, I had to get a DNAS patch for the .iso but, after that, I started getting hit with either a emulation crash & close, or the emulated game freezing. To cut a long story short, the only fix I could find was to set System EE Cycle speed to 300% overclock and after that I just followed your guide with no issues.
I was literally about to give up before I just stumbled upon it working. Idk if anyone else even uses it at 300 clock speed since I didn't see that anywhere?
Is file 2 needed to play online ?
Hi what platform is that being played on, just confused as you started on the pc then showed the ps2 game
This is on a windows PC, using the emulator "PCSX2"
Is there any specific reason why you had to translate the Japanese versions of the games? Do the US versions not work as well online?
@@zinarmagadan3751 They don't work at all! Much like Monster Hunter PS2, the English versions of the games haven't been cracked yet.
@@ReveriePass Thank you!
i cant download memory card files cause mega doesnt work (with vpn either). can someone share em please
Hi! This method will work with original hardware? I mean play on PS2 console.
Hello ReveriePass, thank you for this video. I followed the same steps but when it reaches the DNSA verification, it reaches 50 percent and returns me to the initial screen. Do you know what I can do ? I modified several BIOS and it does not work. Do you know in the DNS address, should we put the IP that provides our computer or should we leave the one of the video? because with none of them I get it. thank you very much!
Did you patch the ISOs?
@@ReveriePass Yes!
@@ReveriePass Now it worked, I don't know why I typed again the DNS of the video and it works, why can this happen? because that was the first thing I did now and it didn't work.
How did you make it work? Como lo arreglaste el error de 59%?
I am dealing with the same issue
I need help for a friend. He's trying to download nightly but it keeps downloading as a text file? What the heck lol any ideas?
Thanks for making this video. Do you know if it works on original hardware? My PS2 can play patched games off the HDD, so that's not an issue.
Are the memory card files mandatory for going online, or can network settings be made on the console itself?
Network settings could be made on the console itself. Me supplying the memory card files instead of just showing setup was dumb, in hindsight. Next year I’m making a revamped version
@@ReveriePass Great, thanks for the reply.
Hey i have one small question. On the emulator itself whenever i hit Circle it pauses the whole emulation itself. what can i do to fix that. (using a ps4 controller to play as well)
Close steam completely
Hey there! umm.. so my cpu does not support pcsx2 nightly build and the program told me to use 1.6.0 release... will it still work if i want to play online? :/
definitly the best tutorial ive seen. i just have one hicup. when i click the prev connection and at the misrendered screen, it brings me back to the connection screen anyone know how to fix this?
i am clicking circle but it just brings me back
@@sirchubble973 same here.. where you able to fix it?
