The bible says when you are born again (confess your sin, baptized, accept Jesus as your Lord & savior) 2 Corinthians 5:17 " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold, all things become new. Jackie is now a new person. If Jesus can forgive all our sins, why can't all who are judging her based on her past.

I believe in the importance of sound doctrine. That said, is it wrong for me as a Christian guy to listen to her speak because she is a woman? Referring to the biblical passages about women not having authority over men in the church. I like what she's saying, and I believe it's true. Does it matter for me, the listener, whether biblical truth comes out of the mouth of a man or woman speaker? Please don't respond if you're not a believer in Christ. Thanks.

Remember the Scripture that "I will pour my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy"? Women prophecy too brother; the instruction of Apostle Paul was contextual...

+BATTY3459 the bible gives multiple accounts of women placed in positions of leadership an authority. It's not about who's speaking. It's about what they're presenting, and how they're presenting it.

I always had a problem with people using the bible to interprète their own thoughts using the bible. Finaly i can see that i am not difficult in my view.
If you support "Pure Doctrine", then why in disobedience? The Bible says that one of the first qualifications of a Pastor/Preacher is to be the "husband of one wife". Apostle Paul is clear, "I suffereth a woman not to teach".. again, male only Pastors/Preachers. Add what JHP and the GC and SBC are "pushing", which God calls abomination. There is a difference between loving all and pointing them to Christ, and pushing a leftist agenda. Jesus says many times to not be deceived. Yet here we are. (well, not me, I won't listen.) Jesus is coming SOON..

I respect your opinion. But the Bible also says God is no respecter of persons, and he will pour out his spirit on all flesh. If we still followed some of the levitical laws and statues we'd be in bondage. Jesus eradicated all of that except the moral law which is the Ten Commandments. So I disagree. But God will show us both what's right in due time.

Yes, sound doctrine is important.
If there's men in the audience, she shouldn't be teaching and assuming a position of scriptural authority by preaching to them...I love women, I'm a holy Spirit filled believer in God's word, and that's WHY I say this, because it's best for women AND men when we do things God's way.
There is a Jezebel-like spirit (demon/fallen angel) that loves to promote womenn to teach while an Ahab-like timidity inhibits the Godly men who should be stepping up and leading and rebuking this kind of situation out of fear of being labelled sexist in a feminist culture. We are foreigners to this world and we do not conform to it's pattern. instead we are transformed as our minds are renewed by God's word. God's word says this clearly and it is authoritative:
"I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor." 1 tim 2:12-14
offensive? perhaps. Counter-cultural? definitely. God's word? surely.
Please consider this, ladies AND gentlemen! Shame on the men who allow this and promote it and for not stepping up to be who you're suppose to be in God if you have been given the gift of pastorship/preaching. Shame on the women who desire more than their portion, which is in fact why this very scripture points to Genesis. a woman wanted more than she had, and took it and then LED her husband astray (and yes for SURE Adam was hugely at fault too because he shoulda MAN'D UP and been the authority he was suppose to be for the both of them!)
And no, it wasn't for "cultural reasons at the time" or because of the Ephesian artemis worship. The reason given, prefaced by the word "for" in the above verse, is the created Order. Adam was first, Eve second. So Adam was ordained to lead, not woman.
If some lady wants to teach sunday school, preach to kids, evangelize even unsaved men out on the mission field, or teach other women, HEY that's a LOT of WONDERFUL ways to use your gift of teaching/preaching/evangelism, but don't be teaching Christian men! That's the only limitation! be humble towards God's word! I love you, you bold and wise women of God! You are used POWERFULLY of the Lord, but if you want to be used powerfully, you must do things HIS way. Bless you!

Exactly, but if you discuss how this is not in accord with sound doctrine (1 Cor 14) watch how many people chime in on how that does not apply. But I'm gonna stick with God on this one.
She is preaching.. She is NOT a Pastor, or Bishop, she is NOT in sin.
She’s evangelizing. Check the Greek. And then don’t stop there. Check the Greek of all biblical positions. And then don’t stop there. Read commentary. And then dont stop there. Ask the Holy Spirit for insight. And don’t stop there. Pray for Jackie. And then don’t stop there. Be thankful for all women who have spoken truth and loved you. And never stop seeking to promote the gospel and encourage the body of Christ. Never stop.
Jackie; I am a Biblical counselor and have used your book to minister to confused female students. This year my 25 year old granddaughter told me she was gay and living with her girlfriend.
It shook me to my roots. In an effort to help her I have now heard all your messages and God is using you mightily. Please pray for my granddaughter Sarah Hubert. She has suffered similar hurts as you and no longer believe s in God even though she was raised at church until age 12. She is very angry and defensive. Thank you for your ministry. Karen Lee
What about Dorcus and many other women in the bible that God has used. Her husband is her head covering.
What is your pure doctrine? Reformed man made Calvinism? That is not PURE Doctrine. It is flawed as a man made doctrine. Undebatable.
