Cool to see you visited one of my local beaches. Loved your shots despite the weather. Not the best season to really see Ocean City at it best as everything really winds down after Labor Day. Oddly it looks like you caught our only rain in the last 45 days. Enjoyed the video !
I shot lots of Ektar 100 with my Hasselblad and Rolleiflex. Ektar 100 is the most slide-likely negative and the most digital looks film due to its latitude and super fine grain.
Awesome to see you were at one of the local areas! That would have been very cool to walk by you or say hello. Glad you made it to Assateague Island as well and got to see the horses. I go there pretty often. It's a nice place for astrophotography as well depending on the season. You've got some lovely shots here too! P.S. The wildest (no pun intended lol) thing I've ever seen at Assateague Island, was a HUGE fight between a few horses. The sound of them kicking and going after each other was so wild! I've seen them so many times over the years, but that was the only time I've ever seen them actually fighting each other. Lots of people get so close to them despite the warnings everywhere, that was one of those moments when you are reminded that they are indeed wild animals.
Ohhhh I was keeping my distance all the time despite how much I want to pet themmmmmm lol~ really wants go there during summer time, ocean city has such unique geography that surrounded by water on both sides.. it’d be really cool to photograph the beach during summer time!!
@itscapturedbysam I hope you get another chance to visit, and the weather is much kinder to you haha. It's absolutely packed in the summer, but there can be some beautiful opportunities to shoot then too. 😍
I have a roll of Ektar 100 but I still don't know where to use it. I'm saving it for a special project and for that I need to solve the light leak on my Hasselblad. I hope to use it soon. Your photos are incredible.
Rain, snow, or shine, its always a good time to take a beautiful photo. I'm going to hit you up on discord :P I'm going to tell you where I'm going. I'm even going to bring a camera.
great, now you know the sturdiness of a tripod, but wait, don't discount it yet, wait until good weather, then you need ND filters, and how do you do that one handed?, No, on the 'sticks', it allows you to do safer lens changes to. Also don't discount the low asa films, they have a place, esp. with the mf cameras, low shutter speed maximums {leaf shutters}, and no glare problems, like higher asa films, I switched to EkTar from Fuji pro 400 H just for this reason, admittedly I've been using Kodak Gold 200 for a while [5 roll pack]- and on LF cameras too, all went well, Great colours (especially green and red, in garden and building photography, which I have been doing lately); another observation, you use a 'ball head', for the l-bracket problem, use a 3-way head, it allows you to swivel the camera, no L-bracket required, just tip 90 Degrees.

With that L-bracket on the 67, you will never miss an arm day.
Welcome to Maryland. Where the weather doesn’t even know what it’s gonna do. 😂 Nice shots. 😊

It's a great film for those scenes you were expecting... bright colorful summer days ;)

I believe you could push Ektar 100 to 400, but the results might be pretty wild
Hi Sam, 想问一下这个L板和快装板是马小路的哪一款呀?有止滑限位钉吗?宾得67在上面会转动吗,特别是竖拍的时候?
