This is very helpful, can I just confirm, is 장 the counter for tickets does anyone know? I have not come across a counter for tickets so would have just used 개? 😊
The second sentence is just a quote of the first one, from what I've learned 달다 is used to mean 주다 when quoting. But if you say something like 소금을 좀 주라고 했어요 it sounds like you aren't the one who will receive the salt.

It's 권 or 표
"장" is the counter for papers or paper-like thin and flat objects.
