Nielsen numbers for The Last of Us was given to the trades. According to Showbuzz daily it's Sunday debut was about 588k viewers and demo numbers were 0.17. Everything combined (Sunday live, later viewings and Max) has the debut at 2.76 million viewers and is about 233 million minutes viewed in the US. Or will it grow for a couple episodes, peak halfway and lose steam near the final episodes like HotD? EDIT: for clarity and grammar

I watched it 4 times so 😂i played a role here
I watched it 5 times lol join the train besti e ❤
I really enjoyed every minute it!
By the way: In Germany there are almost no (!) IMAX screens. Maybe one theater in a bigger city has one of those
Really? Whoa I wouldn’t have thought that considering the biggest cinema screen in the world is in Germany or something
@@michaeljackson2724 Maybe. But people are very "pricy concious" over here. You get robbed for IMAX screenings...
Where are all the Avatar haters at? Y'all been real quiet past 6 weeks 😁
Right here! I hate it but I am glad James is back on top! Too bad he did for Disney though
That all time list is the reason I don't trust people to give good movie suggestions. Mind boggling.
Netflix ordered 24 episodes of Vikings: Valhalla when it picked up the series back in 2019. That being said, with all of the recent "unrenewals", nothing is safe nowadays.
Wait what? They axed that? Aw man... Still have that on the list :/
The Lockwood & Co book series is actually really good. Though I imagine this adaptation will probably not live up to that sadly.
i love it when grace acknowledges anime movies ❤️
10 years ago. Jack Ryan and Reacher would be called an action drama series. Now. its a "Red state" show🙄
It sad how tribalistic and divided this country is getting.😞
@Stoner Face Don't worry, it's just Grace and her ilk. They're salty that the Red State-y shows blow their favorite rainbow raceswapped trash out of the water. I'd love to see true, organic diversity of people and subjects in the media but... this ain't it , chief.
The subtext here is so sutile, dang
Or you could live in a small city like I do with one theater that doesn’t have Dolby or IMAX. Just regular old screens.
no shame in that my friend
New York is not everywhere else - 2 Imax & 2 dolby? Most places have neither
There is discrepancy between Nielsen's numbers and Warner's...so um, pick whichever you prefer, I guess.
So overall, TloU had a much stronger premiere than S2 of White Lotus, but it's debut is much weaker than HotD. Eager to see which way it goes. Will it consistently grow like S2 of White Lotus? Or will it grow for a couple episodes, peak halfway and lose steam near the final episodes like HotD?
EDIT: for clarity and grammar
When to see it for a second time and there where a lot more people. Had to buy my ticket almost a day before
Wow, I am impressed about Avatar 2 making 2 billion! Still did we ever even doubt! 😅
I saw the original Jurassic Park for the first time on the big screen a few years ago during COVID. Even though I have seen it dozens and dozens of times, and seen all the others on the big screen originally, the first one is just made for cinema. I felt it. So perfect. I’d go every year to watch it on the big screen.
10:24 I remember SEARCHING was hard to find in theaters when it came out. for some reason there was no showings for it in many theaters. I had to drive far to see it. That's probably why it made only $6 million. I know... I was looking forward to it for weeks and it never showed in theaters around me in L.A. except for a few. I know cause when it finally went digital I also had to search hard for it.
I haven’t heard any person talk about seeing this movie(Avatar).
Megan was the best comedy movie I’ve seen in awhile.
