Croatia werent poor. They created the most xG in the group stage out of all teams 6.55 xG, while playing in a (defensively) tough group with Spain, Italy and Albania. They just don't have a striker to put away those chances. Defense wasn't good enough to go very deep, but they should have qualified at least.
If we can't beat Switzerland and Holland then we may as well just give up altogether

The disgrace is Waistcoat not realising we need width, as every player is naturally coming inside. Look at Spain; two wingers who can go outside their man.

@@kevinkenny6975 We need Walker's pace to cover counter attacks, that's if we did play more expansively. As we're set up now I suppose Walker could go LB and Trent-Alexander at RB.

@@kevinkenny6975We're not performing as a team, so it's hard for any player to make an impact. Mainoo is the only player, for me, who has performed to any level.
Anyway, I backed a Germany/Turkey final (400/1) so I'm hoping that materialises.
