That bad religion performance was phenomenal, sounds just like the original recording
Sully is AWESOME! I LOVE Godsmack!
Sully & Tony & Robbie & Shannon are AWESOME Members, I Love Godsmack a Bunch!! They're my Favorite Post-grunge bands
@@nolandavis2927 I actually forgot I commented on this vid,Have a GREAT evening bud!
@@christianshadrick1150 Thank you
@@nolandavis2927 Not a problem
I've seen Godsmack live 12 times. Always excellent - extremely consistent live.
I still don't understand neither
@@ibelieveinsomething3895 what’s not to understand? I see reading is hard for you!
The most powerful voice to come out of a man thats probably 5'3"
I ain't trying to start any shit but the most powerful voice to come from such a small man was without doubt Ronnie James Dio.The best voice in metal period.
@@robreynolds9349 i respectfully disagree. Im not a fan of dio. Whether with sabbath or on his own. Ill take sully any day. But the best voice EVER belongs to layne staley.
Stella I appreciate your respectful reply. I am a huge fan of Layne and Sully for that matter but they just weren't as versatile and such a range as Dio. Between Sully and Layne I'll take Layne any day.I did get to see Dio and Sully live and again I say Dio was far superior. But Layne was unique. AIC was the last band I got excited about and that was back in what '91 or so.I haven't found anything that drew me in and kept me interested since AIC.But we can agree to disagree I hope.Rock on!
I agree. Sully Erna sounded like James Hetfield on steroids. Powerful !
Layne Staley is the best voice there was and ever will be. Just pure bliss.
Another good song by Sully ❤ such a unique voice !
wish I could have went to this . Was going thru very rough times and was homeless for a short time .
Fucking badass..the whole band killed it
The drummer is always kicking ass playing drums. I always loved how sully got into the music shaking his head back and forth going along with the beat of the music
we need godsmack in our lives.....tour the classics ....you have plenty to fill a concert
I would just go to watch them play their untitled album start to finish.
Love the LesPaul...love the pure sound :)
He's so real and raw love ❤ his passion massive fan of GOD SMACK theses guys know how to rock 🪨 🎸 😉
Can't wait to see them in couple months after years and years listening to them 🤘🤘
One of the best !!!!
oh boy, the good old days...
Those days are over! Sadly
No what u mean I saw them in pa to a rolling rock festival they were great
It kind of pisses me off that Spotify uses the version of Moon Baby that doesnt have the "Tolerance, Tolerance for pain" part at the end, it's just an instrumental breakdown.
Id love the live version were he says ' how about we turn this up another notch ' in 2003
Try Pandora, I don't think it cuts it out on there
Haven t heard of em til 2000 when they opened for Limp Bizkit at their europe tour - they blew my mind and rocked the crowd even more than LB did. Infected since that day … got their record right after that concert and ve to admit that they were even better live… 🤘🏻
Gotta see y'all live memorized!!
Oct 27 2023 ❤
wish i was there!!
G.O.A.T.
Damn amazing
From 2:39 till 3:14... that scream (3:06)!!!! Wow. The whole segment is amazing musically and singing skills
The camera work at 4:00 makes it look like Sully just got pulled off the stage or something hahahaha
Always liked Tommy on drums, he had that Godsmack look and fit the band well, too bad they couldn't see eye to eye .
I agree it seems everyone prefers Shannon, but tommy created the beatswe all love, and as you said he had the look and the power to play just right.
I always thought we has more of a raw groove. Plus he represents Flint,MI ....where I'm from.\m/
Did Tommy not get along with robbie , Tony?
i prefer shannon
Tommy Stewart was the right piece! The first two albums are their best in my opinion, Shannon Larkins is impressive but Tommy era had better tunes.
Ohh yessss Bad Religion! That one song where the main riff goes

Open-D. Indeed. Yup. Great comment. I love it.
Some of the most catchy, infectious riffs are simple.
Get off your high horse, KBW.
i have seen you guys over 15 times and i like the pit....please come back
Dayummmm 🔥🔥🔥🔥
that baritone voice of Sully tho :O
Tharindu Nadisha it makes most people sound bad when they try to sing godsmack myself included his voice is epic
my vocal are very similar to sullly's
It’s all just a poor impression of layne Staley if you wanna be real about it
@@fairweatherfriends. I don't think they sound anything alike.
@@fairweatherfriends. just shut the fuck upppp. God. You’re like a fucking child who won’t stop nagging mom about some stupid toy. Get the fuck over it. Sully admitted that Layne was a HUGE inspiration to him. I can hear some Layne at times, you know, the fucking INFLUENCE, but Sully makes it his OWN.
Next time you come w some bullshit like that imma slap the shit outta you.
Godsmack is my religion! Lol😃 gotta luv em!
like the tone change =)
GET IT UP!
LUV 🖤 ❤️ 😍 HIM
Great oldman
Moon Baby 🍼
Аж сплясать хочется
💯!
Why Godsmack never headlined a Super Bowl half time show goes way beyond my comprehension.
Because they aren’t sellouts.
@@dreamyoufindyou yeah lol😅
my fuckin fav band
I 💙 u sully erna
The drummer is soo good! No wonders, the singer is a AAA drummer in skills
One thing I gotta say, that crowd was weak...I would have been dancing my ass off......listen to that beat....and the lyrics.....OMG who can stand still during this...no mosh pit but just dance ppl....omg...DANCE YOUR ASS OFF
Yeah, but it was 1999. Maybe this is what they meant in the 1000hp lyrics.
thank you Jesus for godsmack (no pun intended) 😆
Pun VERY intended 😅
❤ @ 3:15
THIS REAL WORLD
SO I PRIASED YOURS
Moon Baby - [3:15]
🤘😎🤘 Fuck Yeah
I think this was the golden age of Godsmack.
How many people were at Woodstock in July 1999
23
Blue
About 200,000
I dont know man I would have to say at least 40
Nobody that's here obviously, lol
7:23 that pit got so hot that Satan himself was crowdsurfing!
High Rezh
Watching turnstile and this, I love evolution.
So... This is the best version of that song right people??? Epic! If there is a better version... Plz put a link
1:27 camera man about 3 seconds too late
XD
is Tony wearing a JTHM shirt?
that is usa
Who's on drums?
Bruce During Woodstock, it was Tommy Stewart, which departed from the band in early 2003. From the 'Faceless' record and on, Shannon Larkin plays drums. Tommy Stewart shortly returned to Godsmack in 2003 to play in 'I Stand Alone.'
Do you know why he left?? He's drumming was awesome.
Rob Rojas personal differences
I miss angry Sully, lol
5'6"
Ese publico no te merece godsmack
“OOOH BABY” 👶
You didn't include Marilyn Manson. Someone threw a beer bottle at him.
Recidivism anthem
2:39"Can you feel it? i Gotta live with it everyday"- convicted felon
Legalism is a bad religion....
RUclips won't let reply thru...
Had Pantera fired Phil instead of breaking up entirely, Sully would've been a great replacement, imo.
Would not have considered this, but now I am genuinely curious how that would have worked out....
Sully is good but nowhere near Phil’s range

Ok. I will be that guy ! Lyrics
Can you feel Im not like you anymore.
I can't see,
I can't breathe.
See you quiver like the dogs on the street,
Looking down on as I beat you.
Oh, it's a bad religion,
From a broken nation.
Its a contradiction,
And I can't take it anymore, yeah.
Whos ta say I wont like you anyway?
Take a deep breath,
Im alive.
Can you hear me,
Im alive inside you.
Agony creeps up behind you.
Oh, it's a bad religion (Bad religion)
From a broken nation (A broken nation)
Its a contradiction,
And I can't take it any f***ing more
Its a bad religion (bad religion, bad religion, bad religion)
From a broken nation (Broken nation)
Its a contradiction.
Yeah.
Can you feel it?
I gotta live with it everyday
And I can't take the pressure.
Im goin' insane,
Now go away
Go away
[Preacher:] Now you start praising God where ever you
Are. I don't care where you are, I don't care what is
Happening, just begin to praise God, just begin to
Praise him and praise him and praise him and praise
Him and worship him, and bless him... [Trails off]
