  • Extremely rare 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (LJR). This is the last year of the two-door unlimited Jeep. Some will argue that this is the last year that "real" Jeeps were made. The extra length gives the rear passengers more leg room and more storage space in the rear. For off-roading applications, the longer wheel base makes traversing difficult terrain easier. This era of the Rubicon came with a stronger front axle, air-lockers, and a 4:1 transfer case. This one is not in great shape but it is a historical marker for the Jeep and Rubicon lineage.

Rubicon model came out in 2003 on the TJ. A year later, in 2004, the LJ came out and was available in Rubicon trim since it’s release.

Turns out, I bought one of the other 66 just this summer. So this was very cool to see. Took it to an off-road park several times, had an absolute blast.

I’d have a hard look at the frame, I’m sure you have Safety caps in your future.

The tj is the best Jeep ever made. After that they became Chrysler cars…

1 of 66 ? I would put $20-30k and restore it completely. 3:15 Frame looks really good at that spot, but it’s that point at the rear, where water pooled that is the “death” spot.

With the specific options, yes, 1 of 66. It is really hard to find these
