It's good to see these people blowing off a little stress from their day-to-day hassles. A long time ago I was an EMT. The EMS system is full of awesome people who are rarely shown in this light.
Lol EMT here... I did the 2020 and 2021 one chip challenge...What could possibly go wrong?? An hour and 25 minutes into it, I thought I was dying due to burning a hole in my small intestine and bleeding out... and this is why I didn't call 911, I didn't want our team to show up and laugh at me. My pride choose to go with sepsis from fecal matter over being embarrassed. I lasted over 5 hours without eating nor drinking anything.
Health care staff DESERVE a damn break!! For all you whining and complaining about people in the waiting area and so on... just as you go to your 9-5 and get a BREAK... they do too🙄
VancouverCanucksRock for all you know, this could have been 3am. It’s an ER staff. They know their downtime. They are human and I’m sure everything was fine.
VancouverCanucksRock you’re telling ME, you’ve never seen a break room with more than 10 people in there?? Ok... hospitals employ more than 1700 doctors alone. I’m sure people have the same break time. My doctors get 30 mins lunches. Same time. This video is 8:16 UNEDITED🤨 they get a break... you people are ridiculous
This is the only safe place I would try one of these !! Good for them to have a little break after all their hard work especially when they do graveyard shift!!
This is the best thing ever!!!! I am glad and honored to see the doctors do this challenge. reality it only shows you how hot this challenge is and what your body system does
ER docs have a lot more mental discipline than the average Joe. I used to host a monthly pepper eating challenge at my house. Every time, our friend the ENT surgeon won with ease.
So many people unaware of what actually goes on in ERs. Its not like the TV shows guys..at least not everywhere and most definitely not all the time. I live in NYC right across from a trauma center-- and theres down time too. You can tell just by the noise in the background. No need to bash. Anyway! Great content!
I can not believe how cool calm and collected these two men handled it. All the other videos ive watched of peeps taking this challenged absolutely went off the edge and splatted after about a five mile fall off the cliff. As for me i would have been over the edge simply being in the same room as these two people.
I know, I have watched a bunch of these, but until today I did not realize how tuff those doctors were.....I have seen people beg others to take the into ER because they thought that they were having a heart attack, rolling around on the floor, crying because it hurt so bad and these two act like it was nothing.......great job......your the Champs in my book.
This one made me laugh. Being from the medical side of a job I can appreciate the medical info to explain how this works and he's funny. He took it better than most others I've seen so I gotta give him props for doing this. Great video
Takes forever to see a doctor in an ER because they are treating EMERGENCIES. If you’re complaining about wait times you’ve never worked in an ER, and you’re probably healthy enough to be seen at your primary care provider
This was really cool seeing how it physically affects the human body. And DAYUM he is a trooper....I appreciate the perspective. And it was funny af too!
Great job doc....you were one of the best that I've every seen. You were simply amazing! You have my respect. I still can't believe how calm you were. Great video---
You all are doing great compared to at least 100 other videos I have watched the both of you are more relaxed then anyone else I have seen congratulations!
ER staff can be pretty stoic. We have to be. He looks like a resident so he has even MORE to prove. You guys are my people and I enjoyed this video. They both did great. Now make the attending try! Lol Signed, ER RN Level 1 Trauma Center Upstate NY
Wow they handled it well. Compared to a lot of other challengers. Nice video you guys! I always feel comfortable around a medical crew. It don’t get any better than that!✌🏻
I don’t know where you live but where I live I have only waited to the most 20-30 minutes. I might not see a doc immediately. But they get you in a bed and comfortable. If in pain a doc comes in and approves pain medication.
He has done the best ive seen so far 5 mins into it...butttt in his mind he's prolly thinking oh well I'll be fine Im in a hospital already and have 4 other trained pros with me...I think that def keeps him going alot longer than the normal person would w.out even drinking milk or anything!!! 😂
I'm glad you are doing this because I've been wondering how serious it would be if a person ate the chip and had a heart problem or stomach problems like ulcers or colitis etc?
Hearing, "you can put the Adenosine back" as someone with SVT who has had the displeasure of needing that before, it made me laugh. Also made me nervous because if tachycardia is a typical response (I was already assuming it is one), I don't know if I can do the challenge now *dang it* Great job, guys!
Hilarious! We are all insane in the medical field. You 2 are brave for doing this in front of others... I was mortified at the thought of our team showing up for my jackassery! Lol Only reason I didn't call 911 is because I am 911. Lol
This is probably the safest place to eat it 😂😂😂
Brittany Chanel hell yea
Gayest.
For sure
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 safety at hand!!
It's not dangerous, it's a spicy chip...🤦🏻♂️
The best thing is... they're already in a hospital full of doctors and medical equipment.
Has everyone’s sense of humour died they may have all just finished a 12 hour shift, they save life’s give them a break. 🕊🕊
Life's?
Trixster Million You know what she meant, asshole.
@@annabiotic1078 Lol!!!!

That entire Floor looks to be having a break....There was like 20 damn Doctors are Nurses filiming/watching
VancouverCanucksRock for all you know, this could have been 3am. It’s an ER staff. They know their downtime. They are human and I’m sure everything was fine.
Except they work more like 12 to 12, pretty sure they wouldn't be chilling out unless they had a good reason.
VancouverCanucksRock you’re telling ME, you’ve never seen a break room with more than 10 people in there?? Ok... hospitals employ more than 1700 doctors alone. @@25kenyada That's an odd looking Break Room....STFU already!!! You're making yourself look stupid
Damn they both took the chip like a champ!!! Haha
I've never seen anyone act this calm before after eating one of those chips.
Both taken like a boss, loads of folk haven't resisted the burn this well
This is the only safe place I would try one of these !! Good for them to have a little break after all their hard work especially when they do graveyard shift!!

Agreed!
I don't want anything hotter than vanilla ice cream.
D. C. 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
With reaper sauce
Texas Pete the mild ones not bad
He handled that like a G…respect! 🙏🏻
I have been watching these kind of videos today, and these two are the MEN, everyone else were crying and barfing. Cool docs!
ER docs have a lot more mental discipline than the average Joe. I used to host a monthly pepper eating challenge at my house. Every time, our friend the ENT surgeon won with ease.
This was an interesting take on the one chip challenge hahaha!!
Cudos to u fine ladies and gentelmen for showing your fun side god bless
“You can put the adenosine back” lol that had me rolling
I've watched a few of these videos, these guys are handling it best because they are in a hospital and psychologically it gives them a big edge
Both of these guys took it WAYYYYY better than most people on RUclips!!!
That moment when you're browsing youtube and you see someone you know. Glad to see you're doing well Jacob!
Thats how doctors have fun
You handled it well guys. Nice Job! It's good to see you all having some laughs.
I been watching all day videos men eating pacqui, and so far you two are the only people who didn't cry! Congratulations! Good job!
Dale Jayme .. me too I've watched so many videos and ur right these guys took it well 😋👍👊

That’s a doctor I’d trust with my life. Cool and collected even under pain.

love..love..love to see medical staff taking a break. They save lives every day..all day.
Nice job gentleman 👍 my hats off to all of you Dr an nurses 👍 an to the staff @ DHMC thank you all 👍
No wonder it takes forever to see a doc in ER lol
Both took it like champs tho 👌🏾
dhkrescue for all we know they know it doesn't cost what people are charged but they can't affect the price. Maybe they would if they could.
Jason Walton I was thinking the same
Jason Walton lol

Takes so long because they are no stop working on people who should not even be in the country
Good to have workers in the same field to help you quickly.
That's the hospital I would love to go to if I was sick
Very cool staff thumbs up
Wow! They made it look like it wasn’t even hot! I’d have to say these are the one chip challenge CHAMPIONS!
Hah. We as people Love You Guys. EMP saved my mother’s life. Thanks for just being you and there.

I love how you guys explained it while he's dying 😂😂😂😂
My goodness! My eyes watered for you both! Great job tho! Very informative. Its amazing what you can live through! Bravo!
A lot more fellow physicians eager to see the live results of this science experiment than one might have imagined😂
took it like a boss
It's crazy to see the physical effects like this... Awesome video !!
Absolutely loved it. Great job all

So your keeped waiting coz there doing that and you find out how happy you really going to be
Lol I was waiting to see if anyone was going to hurl. Glad they made it!
This is the reason we sit for hours in the waiting room, the damn staff back there doing one chip challenges and shit.
LMAO!! I think I heard you say that, and I don't even know what you sound like! lol
...when the chips are down....:P
I don’t know where you live but where I live I have only waited to the most 20-30 minutes. I might not see a doc immediately. But they get you in a bed and comfortable. If in pain a doc comes in and approves pain medication.
They are people not machines. They were probably on break. I have never waited hours.
I really enjoyed this, I worked in a hospital for 40 yrs.,and had a lot of good times!!!!Great bunch of folks!!!!💪👍😄
Dr. "maned up" . Gotta say... nice going.
This is hilarious what better place to this than the emergency room😂😂😂
All these comments about what medical staff do on their breaks cracks me up. Lol
That was awesome!! What a fun staff
You forgot to mention a crash cart is also on stand by🤣🤣🤣
It also helps extreamly well with nerve pain. Once you develope a tolerance to it. Capsicum.
I’ve watched a tons of this challenge n these guys are the coolest ones hehehe good job!
Bless all these people! :)
Wow. You can see him turn red.
"That was your wife"......
"and slowly moving away"!!!! Priceless
Both took it like bosses! Respect!
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls
Good job Doc's. Had Fun.
This was the best challenge yet!
This is great!! So funny thanks!
the doctor is so cute.
royal wedding 2018 which one?? There’s two. Both v cute.
And you are gorgeous
Super amazing to rewatch :)
You definitely need to do the newest paqui chip soiled black one I don't think they would be so calm 😂😂😂😂
Clearly this was done before COVID. Not as much down time in hospitals of late. Fun video; thanks for sharing!
Normally it’s the doctors seen so many people in pain, so it’s nice to see the other way around.
Great job handled that like true champions ,you guys eat spicy food you made it look easy . Doctors you rule awesome video
These are the coolest Drs . thumbs ☝
This guy is taking it like a BOSS !!!
I like this challenge better in a hospital room and not only that the nurses and doctor? Tried it to see the results of the chip. Thank you.
:57 is the precise point where he fucked up🤪
This is the only way I would do this challenge hooked up to every monitor with the adenosine on standby (not a fun drug by the way)
Hilary Jane haha no it is not!! :)
Kayla Calabrese I have a history of SVT so I’ve had it many times usually at least two doses
Hilary Jane yikes!! I luckily have never needed it but I heard it is a feeling like no other!!
Hilary Jane It's horrible. The last time I asked tp hold the doctor's hand. Sure did. And she did.😊
Best one Chip challenge I have seen yet...
A bit later on he’ll be beavis n buttheading it w/ the other end ‘fire! Fire!! Hehheh’
He has done the best ive seen so far 5 mins into it...butttt in his mind he's prolly thinking oh well I'll be fine Im in a hospital already and have 4 other trained pros with me...I think that def keeps him going alot longer than the normal person would w.out even drinking milk or anything!!! 😂
K-Love! What going on! Miss you guys at the ED Dr.Radford was a champ! Great video
Great job!

I wonder how they’ll hold up if they ate the black pacqui chip? Anyway, great job doctors! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
they are look so happy with paqui ship challenge
5 seconds in and the machines are beeping off the charts 🤣🤣 lol
Hell the reason he does it there is that if it's too hot they can knock him out, going under u won't know what is up or down.
LOL he turns red as a tomato
Great participants.
Was he billed 250,000 for this?
You guys were awesome 👍 👍
I love how this was filmed in a trauma bay, LOL
He handled it like a champ lol
Time to get out the GI cocktail
Hilarious! We are all insane in the medical field. You 2 are brave for doing this in front of others... I was mortified at the thought of our team showing up for my jackassery! Lol Only reason I didn't call 911 is because I am 911. Lol
That heart rate monitor would’ve freaked me out. It’s giving me anxiety just to hear
Yeah, just the other day I was eating some sushi and I never put anything on it. But I put the wasbi on it, popped it in my mouth. OMG, I nearly died.
I've heard the monitor beeping when my heart was at 254bpm. That was insane.. I asked what is that and "your heart's was the response.
Ok that doctor is a BOSS!
