hey! I'm in the same situation as you and you can put posters on your side of the wall and you can get new stuff for your bed! You can add small changes to your side of the room until you get your own!
Same I share with my brother but now there is an empty room in my house after my uncle moved out so my parents said I'm moving there next yr❤

it's so cute!! i luv luv decorating and displaying little trinkets as well but it accumulates dust so easily! how do you tidy them up?
tysm!! 💗 i use a wet wipe every now and then but when i see a lot of dust coming off after wiping, that’s when i do a deep clean with soapy water & a towel^^

it’s such a cozy aesthetic !! some other decors i can think of are floral beddings, any crochet decor, woven baskets, plants on vases or even hanging ones(can be real or artificial), and candles 🕯️
