I’m on a journey of giving up alcohol. As a result, I’m having very vivid dreams. Last night I dreamt that I’d been given an art project to illustrate a hedgehog and drawing the spines was really stressing me out. I’ve just woken up and here I am!! Great clip by the way. End product looks fantastic.
It's so amazing what comes out in the end. When you begin drawing with the rough lines I'm always like: "Yeah, in the end it should looks like a hedgehog." But when you move on to the shading and add all the hilights and everything it's so interesting to see how it changes more and more into something real. I would never be patient enough to draw all the fur. I think I would fail creating something like that after maybe 5 minutes 😅 I love watching your videos. I like drawing too, but I spent so much more time in music, writing own songs, that I never find time for drawing. Sometimes I do drawings that really do look nice but I could never do as good as you. Keep doing what you do, each drawing seems like a dream to me 😍

other options could be a Dragon in a Dragon cave would look nice or a ship on the ocean or a dinosaur on a island like ( jurassic park ) this is just a few I just love your helpful hints and tips on drawing it really helps.

Don't be put down! Yes, he is very good at drawing, but that doesn't mean you're not. Everyone has their own speed of improving. Some people take longer than others, and that's okay! If you keep at it, you'll get better for sure! And I know it's easier said than done, but I also know that it is possible, because I speak from experience. Try to stay positive! When you see someone else's art that you think looks better than yours, remember that it's just not time yet, that you *will* get there eventually, but only if you keep working. You'll learn to love the art you make :) I hope this helped.. keep your chin up!!
There's always going to be people that are better at drawing, don't worry about it. That just means there's plenty of people out there to learn from. You can be a better artist today than you were yesterday though and that's something to be proud of no matter what your current skill level.

One of the reasons I watch your videos is your always using that Pental P207 :). A tool almost everyone is familiar with and most can buy at local store but yet with that and two erasers you teach Technics on how to create masterpieces. Your talents in drawing is beyond belief please never stop the Pental drawings. I watch replays everyday lol one question what brand HB lead do you buy and what god provides it to you? ;)
The one I use only costs about £3. It's a Pentel P207 0.7mm mechanical pencil. There's a bunch of great ones like that and they don't cost much at all. :) Hope this helps!

Hi Matt! Thanks for the support. :) In terms of storage, it's always a good idea to keep drawings out of direct sunlight. Storing them in a folder with plastic sleeves can be a good idea. I also like to spray my work with a fixative to prevent any smudging.

How do you film? I only have access to an iPad to film at the moment, but I want to upgrade so I can have better quality videos.
At the moment I'm using a Sony Handycam held over the desk with a microphone stand.
