Onew is in a group. His group is Shinee. Literally legendary in kpop. I feel like I’ve seen you react to Taemin who is also in Shinee!! If you haven’t reacted to Taemin I’d highly recommend him as well for solo stuff but honestly all of Shinee does amazing solo stuff. You should definitely check them out as a group though!!
Onew is not the future kpop icon. He is already an icon😊💎

You need to check out Shinee who were famous before BTS and Taemin, the prince of K-Pop. Xikers first album was produced by Hongjoong so the rap sounds like him. You also need to look up the Lore for Ateez so you understand the videos

Beat drum is such a bop that you’ll find yourself humming! Onew’s album Circle was named Billboard’s 2024 Kpop album of year and after a health hiatus (he’s returned with a new company tho he will still be active with legendary SHINee) he’s returned with another no skip acclaimed album Flow! If you know GDragon & Big Bang then you must have heard of SHINee
hello! Onew is the leader of SHINee, the legendary group! SHINee are Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. All members are soloists. Taemin just had a comeback (Sexy in the Air, Horizon, Guilty), Onew's comeback was last week, Key's comeback is on the 23rd but he's already promoting, and Minho drops his full album soon. Jonghyun is on permanent hiatus, but you can listen to his last comeback 'Shinin''. Needless to say, Shawols wallets are screaming.
Onew wrote and produced all six tracks on his mini 'Flow'. He's just come off a 9 month hiatus (health) after dropping his solo album O (Circle). He's known as one of the best singers in all of kpop.

Onew is the leader of Shinee. They are Kpop superstars for 16+ years!!! They are known as the Princes of Kpop.
Future Icon? Onew has already been an icon for the past 16 years. (He was an icon way before most of those "future icons" were even born.) He is the leader of the legendary 5-member boy group SHINee, who debuted in 2008. SHINee has paved the way for almost EVERYTHING within the Kpop industry. All those "future icons" have actually been looking up to Onew for years. SHINee are literally who most idols cite as the reason why they wanted to become a singer and dancer in the first place. The SHINee members are Idols of all your favorite idols.
"Beat Drum" is the lead track on Onew's 5th solo album Flow, but he has several solo singles as well. And as a main vocalist of SHINee, he also has 14 full-length albums (8 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), several repackaged albums, a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS and SHINee has held more than 100 concerts throughout 6 world tours so far.
Of course, Onew is an amazing singer and performer. That's why the members of SHINee are some of the most well-respected singers and artists, and why they are one of the top groups in the industry. SHINee are the golden standard. It's literally known as the SHINee standard, and it's what all other groups strive to reach. SHINee are such an elite group of performers that they are recognized for the fact that there are no longer any fixed roles in their group. The main vocalists can rap, the rappers can fill in as main vocalists and they're all impressive dancers.
Onew is considered one of the premiere vocalists in the industry, who is known for being the male vocalist with the most consistent voice. He is one of the vocalists that vocal coaches use as an example of what people should try to emulate in order to become a great singer. He has been recognized as one of the top vocalists in Kpop since even before debut. Onew was only one of two people ever personally cast by Lee SooMan, the founder of SM Entertainment, and he was chosen at age 16/17 for his outstanding vocal ability. Onew's vocal technique is so good that even as a rookie -- he debuted when he was just 18 years old -- he was a vocal coach and mentor to a lot of trainees.
Although Onew looks young, he will actually be 35 years old this year. SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop, but the members are the same age, or even younger, than many of the members of third generation groups, such as the members of EXO and BTS. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans.
SHINee were designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do -- including the members' solo work -- is meant to be the first, and they are expected to create the trend. With every new song the SHINee members release, it's supposed to be different than the last, so you will never hear the same style or sound from Onew. But it will somehow always sound very much like Onew.
With every release that the SHINee members have, they intentionally flip the script and change things up in the Kpop industry. That's why, when any of the members of SHINee make a comeback, everyone pays attention because they are looking to the members of SHINee to show them what the industry's next song style and dance trend will be. When the SHINee members do something, the industry takes note and follows suit.
Just wait until you see and hear Onew perform "Beat Drum" live. SHINee are also known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They have been nicknamed CD-INee or CD-eaters because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. The SHINee members always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. Therefore, when you hear any of the members of SHINee singing, 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. In other words, unless Onew is required to lip sync for a specific reason, he will always sing live. He has trained his entire career to build endurance and stamina in order to be able to sing live and maintain stable vocals all while performing extremely complex choreography for more than 3 hours straight in concert. That's why Onew -- and SHINee -- is so highly respected among his peers.
xikers are a cool, entertaining, determined group. they debuted in march of 2023 so they are still in their rookie phase but honestly when it comes to kq their new groups are trained to perform like theyve been doing it for years. i really enjoy their music literally pick any song but i recommend their first Japanese single "tsuki".

I love xikers they're amazing ♥ The rapline is amazing, yechan (the first one) is the youngest!! the other two are sumin and minjae (the leader), i looove when they rap together they're just wow but the also the vocalists are incredible. Actually xikers has 10 members but one of them is currently in hiatus

shinee is a 16 year old 2nd gen boy group with 5 members (currently 4, as jonghyun unfortunately passed away in 2017, but forever 5) and they are industry legends that started many iconic trends in the kpop industry over the years !! and they also have a 10/10 discography def worth checking out.
all 5 of the members (onew, jonghyun, key, minho, taemin) are all soloists with their own albums that are also amazing in their own ways and theyre all sososo talented id def recommend checking out more of shinees work 💕
also, speaking of shinee solo work: key’s new album “Pleasure Shop” comes out on sept 23rd and from the snippets weve gotten its gonna be amazing!! so def look out for it 👀

Yea! A Xikers reaction!! So yes, they are in KQ with Ateez. They are Ateez’s little brothers essentially and KQ is just out here putting out monsters. Yechan with the GDragon vibes. The rap line learned well from HongJoong and Mingi. 🤣 Also, huge thank you for reacting to Onew. He’s not new to the scene, as you been told already. He’s the leader of SHINee who are 2nd gen group. Our sweet Onew coming back from hiatus and gifting us music. SHINee is a 5 member group and each member has solo work with each of the coming out with new music. They are definitely worth a listen to when you have time.
Xikers rap line is something else. Their debut is Tricky House. The will of wisps are goblin spirit forms. Their concept is that they’re Korean goblins - trickster spirits. Their sound is hmm think baby beastie boys with a rock leaning.
Okay interesting, so they’re a relatively new group on the scene. Korean goblins, I’ll have to do a little bit of research since you mentioned it.

Xikers are an amazing group, they have the same in house production team as Ateez but somehow have a different flare to them. They are also very performance oriented and with more of a hip hop vibe. They are extremely talented and great live, I was lucky enought to go to a concert in February this year and they are very impressive as a barely 1,5 year old group. They feel like veterans when you watch them to be honest.
