    Using mr hobby levelling thinner may help level the chrome better but what i notice is the chrome tends to self level based on gravity so for flat parts it is best to hang them so they are flat or else you might find the finishing uneven.

      Thanks for the comment! Sage advice! I also think you can minimise excess by applying the airbrush lightly.

    Glad I found this video, I actually bought Ultimate Thunderhawk stickers from you lol I now have a Rhino and it needs to be re-chromed, where can I buy the chrome pen you show in the video? I can only seem to find 2mm and 4mm nib ones. Also thanks for posting this I will be using it as a reference when I start my Rhino at the weekend

      Hi! I didn't use a pen, I used the paint in my airbrush, but they're the same stuff. Molotow liquid chrome. I bought it on ebay I think!

      @@RetroOverload The pens are pretty good too if you don't want the expense of an airbrush. I've seen some of the guys do a good job with them.

    Hi..recently bought some stickers for your ebay store. Could you share how you where able to remove the wheel hubs of rhino?

      HI there! My front wheels just pulled off, and i didn't remove the wheel hubs at all. I masked around them wrapping up the tyres in masking tape. Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoy the stickers!

    Considering doing this myself. Do you know anything about the durability? Is it display only or can it be handled ?

    • @Straitjacket2007
      @Straitjacket2007  3 года назад

      HIya if you leave the stuff to cure properly it's fine, but it can take an age. I left mine in a garage for 10 days (December UK) and it still picked up fingerprints etc when i was pushing it back together, especially the horn bit above the cab as that was the stiffest. I suggest doing it in summer or a warm airing cupboard or somesuch for a month! Should be fine after that!

      @@Straitjacket2007 you can brush up some future floor shine it will form a soft layer of protection, still fragile but you can at least touch it. Loses around 10% shine. I have heard alclad klear kote works and is more durable.
