They do not have a song called Don't Cry For Me. The one you're thinking of is called Don't Pray For Me. And Within Temptation is my all time favorite band. I've been listening to them since 2005. Sharon has the voice of a Goddess.

When I found them a couple of weeks ago just looking for something different to listen to, I WAS BLOWN AWAY and it marked the first time I've ever heard symphonic metal! Our fam bam was raised to enjoy all types of music and I just shake my head in awe as to how good Sharon's vocals are and how hard driving the band really is!!!!!!
Maybe the reason why Within Temptation might be your fav Symphonic (ish) Metal band is that, just like you (and me myself), Sharon is a Metalcore fan and the band is very tuned in what is happening in modern metal… I wasn’t a big fan until they started to incorporate modern metal elements… And now they’ve turned into one of my top 5 bands. For now, she only doesn’t screams and gutural… 🫢 The new album, which also is named Bleed Out, is gonna be in that musical direction. You asked for a suggestion, their latest single just before this one, “Wireless”, you’re gonna love it
Sharon is my favorite singer/ songwriter and one of the best frontpersons I’ve seen. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@Micha Reacts: After seeing this video, and your reaction, I wonder if you have ever heard Indian folk metal band Bloodywood?
The reason is, because like Within Temptation, Bloodywood is very socially-minded, and more than once, they have given of themselves to the world in a non-music way, to do what they can to solve problems in their own way.
If you haven't heard Bloodywood, basically imagine an Indian Linkin Park, combined with traditional instruments, electronica, and growls.
My first recommendation? Endurant. As a side note, Bloodywood's lyrics are both in Hindi and in English.

When you think about Within Temptation in the beginning you could really call it symphonic or melodic, but their new style has gone above and beyond. Far better than Nightwish or Evanescence now.
I mostly watch reaction videos to see people crushing on Sharon and you definitely delivered so yeah. Thank you for this!
This song is about the Iran woman Mahsa Amini and her story. Very stragic, horrible and sad. I love this song sooo much and it makes me emotional every time

I bought the album on Friday and the songs Bleed Out, The Purge and Wireless literally give me goosebumps
