The first 1:15 of this piece is from Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" (2nd movement). He composed that piece for his stillborn son. I highly recommend listening to the original in classical guitar. To the guy that posted this, I wouldn't take someone elses composition, note for note, for that long and slap a general "Spanish" label and call it yours. Where is your reference to him? Did you want everyone to think that beautiful melody was yours?
xxxxxBJxxxxx you have no idea what I am referencing;-). I am playing a song from Chick Corea called "Spain". He got the inspiration from the guitar concerto. So I am basically doing a cover of a cover. Have a nice day.
Sounds great, Geni! Nice mic choice with the R92. We use AEA ribbons for almost all our flute work...the R88 is fabulous on flute choir. Looking forward to reviewing more of your channel!
The upper register on that thing is so sexy. Does the extra bend in the headjoint give it any more resistance or speakey-issues compared to other basses?
Nicely played! Thanks for the info on the manufacturer of the flute. It looks like the same kind that Herbie Mann is shown playing on the cover of his "My Kinda Groove" album.
is this a an old rudall-carte flute? i never played one (i own a kingma quarter tone, conventional curve) it look to have a smaller diameter tube, a brilliant sound
As jazz bas flute goes, it doesn’t get any better! Thanks.
Dang!!! Nice playing!! Bass flute is my favorite instrument xD
Muy buena interpretación. Es la primera vez que oigo este tipo de flauta.
Nice bass flute. Awesome samba song. I love the bass guitar too, with the low B note.

Curious about your instrument - the double-U headjoint configuration. Is this lower than a regular C bass flute?
