Brent can’t do a bad cover. Many times, in my opinion, his covers are better than the originals. His voice is flawless ❤️

EVERY time. I was able to actually listen to that Adele song. No disrespect to her but I cant stand most of her music. Too Sarah McGlochlin-esk. I did hear her do a cover that I liked her doing compared to the original. Sometimes you just need to add some spice to change things up. Old song new sound.

Safe to say Brent is one of the greatest vocalist to ever bless us with music.
No one has this man's tonality, the boldness and raw power is God gifted.
Yes especially when he didn't have any vocal lessons he just learned how to sing by listening to Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder and Axle Rose and soul from Ottis Redding and other blues singers.
Brent makes anything he sings his own with his range and tone, it is also amazing also how Zach takes any song no matter how technical and plays it so seemingly effortless on an acoustic, no pedals, no smoke, just awesome playing.
Brents vocal abilities are 100%. Can sing anything, his voice gives me chills, Zach's an amazing guitarist, wonderful guys ⚘
How could you possibly dislike this song?!! Oh that's right people who don't know good music!! Amazing you two! I love the way you both allow the music to just take over and you get lost in it. That's how you know the love for music is there!

It's just like hanging out with another great guitarist who can sing killer tunes. I think that's why I dig these acoustic sets . We've all been playing a lot of these tunes for years now. Definitely great to see such talent on it. Keeps the magic alive.

Absolutely one of my favorites! Brent can sing anything! A joy to listen love the acoustic sound ! More it’s toned down the better it is! I’ve been a fan for years seen them MANY TIMES can’t wait to see them again!!!!!

My phone is at 69%. I feel like im in a black sitting in the middle of the floor watching lifetimes of us together. I also see the future. I feel like we have already lived our future life but we are here in the present. So we either have done all this on earth before and nobody remembers but you and your reminding me of these things. I dont know if you have lived a "normalish" life and had to to learn lessons like i did or you just appeared before Shinedown came to be.
This band is just pure talent and passion. They can do anything they want to do. Incredible band, even better live than in the studio. They will leave a huge legacy, even though not one can ever do what they do. They're all incredible musicians, but I have to respect Brent for finding the strength to be a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. Unfortunately, I can relate. I've been there, but no longer, thanks to God 👍 I'm 55 years old, and I've seen rock stars since I was 18. But never seen talent like this. Shinedown is the best of everything for those who know them and have followed them since day 1. 🍄💙 There isn't a person on this earth that's wouldn't like shinedown. But Wow, I have to add that Eric and I have ALOT in common. And he's the best example of moving on and doing what makes the depression disappear with music! There's no better therapy than music. I used music in high school and college to keep me evenened out. Please people, get your hearts right. Love you all ✌️
Zach absolutely killed it on theses songs! In Shinedown I feel you here Brent and Eric more than him so it’s nice to hear his beautiful voice 🥰

Today is the first time I've heard of you (altho I've heard of Shinedown.) I'm gonna share you with my kids. Btw I'm 64, and my kids are in their late 20s and early 30s... obviously your music holds appeal for many generations. 😊

I agree that Brent typically does it better than the original. He is one of, if not my absolute favorite singers of all time, but something just seems off with this one. I can't quite place it.
@@emeraldv3nom415 I've actually been blessed to see both Lacuna Coil and Shinedown. Lacuna Coil opened for Rob Zombie at The Warfield in San Francisco on 4/20/06 and was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I've seen Shinedown in both Reno, NV and Santa Rosa, CA and are truly my favorite band.
@@aaronrogers1971 I gotta say you are so lucky! I am a HUGE Lacuna Coil fan! particularly love Cristina Scabbia. I really just appreciate her singing voice but her talking voice is very cool. Italians lol. But seriously Lacuna Coil is a damn good band.
I’ve never seen Shinedown live. I do like their music, more the heavy stuff like Evolve. I love the acoustic stuff Brent and Zach have been covering.
The people I’ve seen live are Black Label Society ( my fav band ) and I just love Zakk Wylde lol. Again I like Zakk Wylde acoustic too.
I’ve seen Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan.
Haven’t been to too many concerts where I live but seeing Black Label Society is all I really cared about at the time so I’m happy lol.

I love the original REM version since I was a kid. I love Shinedown so this is amazing for me. 7 years ago this took on a whole nother meaning for me when I lost my daughter Isabella at 32 weeks. The lyrics,

Makes me think about a dream I had of her while I was pregnant, her laughing, and singing, but it was just a dream because I never got to hear her laugh or sing 🥺

Beautiful, this is fantastic, I have really enjoyed Smith and Myers songs. Smith has an amazing voice. Why are they not getting the exposure they deserve, they are much better then the dross that is in the charts right now
This is just a side project they are doing. They are from the band Shinedown, one of the most popular rock bands for quite some time now. I highly recommend you give their band a listen to.
