Great interview. And a relief that it was all about cinema, and not that other thing. Woody Allen is one of the masters of film, and he may not have that many more movies in him, so it was interesting to hear him talk about film and filmmaking. Kudos to Ms Nesselson for her questions, and for the respect she showed the man and his work.

What a treat to see a full-length interview with Woody Allen -- with a range of pertinent questions and thoughtful responses. Having spent considerable time in Paris -- and having had the pleasure of seeing A RAINY DAY IN NEW YORK there when it wasn't available in the U.S. -- I'm delighted to know that there's such an eager audience for this filmmaker's work in the City of Lights. Hope Ms. Nesselson will do more such feature-length interviews.

Great interview. If Isabelle Huppert or Catherine Deneuve get cast in a future Woody Allen film, you might thank Lisa Nesselson...

It's great to see Woody Allen actually discussing movies instead of, you know. To me, he definitely shows his age, especially at first. But his humor and self-awareness come through more and more as the interview goes on. I love how Lisa's questions draw that out, even while not skirting The Issue that Must Always Be Mentioned in anything about Allen.

Good interview. It’s great that he mentioned Diane Keaton whom I consider his all time greatest co star

What an entertaining and informative interview! And the "issue" that should disappear so tactfully circumvented; obliquely and smartly addressed by both parties!

Very interesting, informative, and a complicated subject to say the least. You asked some hard hitting questions that didn’t come across that way at all. Not only would I like to see the new film, but I’d like to revisit some of his old ones as well.

I'd like to ask Woody this ---- " Why do so many of your characters cheat on their lovers/partners? Do you believe that Adultery in fine? "

Everyone needs to apologize to Allen as he is and always was innocent.
Mia’s persona wanted to bring him down

All's I see on the screen is Wallace Shawn, a New York film and theater legend, intrepid Lisa Nesselson shines, as always. That said I'd rather have another go at Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hannah and her Sisters, Zelig or New York Stories, the more recent works just don't hit the same. The universe is expanding!

Wonderful, informative interview, thoughtful, intelligent questions, detailed, thoughtful responses, and thank you for not focusing on his personal life, which I don't want to hear another word about, ever again.
