I haven't been this excited to build a team since Secret Avengers (MAINLY because of Cap Sam) and Symbiotes before that, hopefully this team is fun to play
The problem with healer is the same issue with Ben as healer. It only increases the healing from 3% to 4% for an extremely minimal gain. So you are basically "wasting" half of the class when you could pick another class that takes much better advantage of her and her team's kit. An overlooked argument for raider, as well as the t4 on her special, is that on a kill it spread the damages to adjacent enemies and ability blocks them. Pumping her damage as much as possible for her special to kill more will have a great trickle down effect. And of course you already touched on the striker/skirmisher dance. Just imo though, I think they'd just put out more damage overall as raider, and gaining so much energy they'll be using their basics a lot less. So the only real consideration for choosing skirmisher would be buff clearing and, while nice, I think the raider damage just over shadows it. It would have to then be a really good iso bonus attack to be worth it to pass up the raider damage for striker, and then consider the other part of the pair (Viv/Vision or IM/HB) as skirmisher for triple taps, or just take raider damage instead.
@@seanrichter3730 how does healer give more focus? Skirmisher does that, and as shown in the video they really don't need the extra focus with the 50% boost from Vision.

The secret with viv is she is not red star dependant and is the least valued. 3 red stars raider. More than 4 red stars healer. Start thinking for Scourge. She will be needed as healer. Maybe in raids as raider. But not in diff 8 or 9 as raider in scourge. You need her as healer.
Actually, since Ironman gives a lot of crit, and Iron Man and Hulk Buster also assist just like Viv and Vision, maybe put striker on 2 of them and Raider on everyone else, so you still get the triple taps most of the time and don't run out of debuffs like you would with 2 skirms/striker and only 1 raider?
Hulkbuster only striker. In this team only 1 character apply during fight defense up, hulkbuster and only on self with his basic. But assist too. According to text, if hulkbuster have more than half his barrier (that in theory above 15% of his hp) his assist apply on him defense up and deflect. So hulkbuster special and ultimate gave hulkbuster barrier, than happen assist and hulkbuster gain defense up and tank dmg. So i will do 3 raider viv healer and hulkbuster striker.
Will unlock her via event since I don't spend much on this game anymore. Just started DD5 and your character recommendations to take in are very helpful for me in choosing which ones to level up
Ans still some people don't believe in seeds.... what triggers it, who knows.... but seeds do exist... and it is probably some algorithm to entice people to spend more...
With the bonuses to “Adjacent Allies” mentioned in all their Kits, What do you suggest as the best Character positioning/placement on this Team ? Thanks for the Great Info/insight
Hey Phil, I voted this video down, and I wanted to explain. I enjoy your takes, and appreciate your voice in and for the community. It just seems content creators are getting satisfied with making unboxing videos. I realize this is a hobby, and it’s fun to see orb openings, but when that’s all there is it feels like a commercial. Sure miss your dark dimension takes, your infographics, and even though player agency in the game is at an all time low I’m sure the player in you is forming a plan to navigate the road to apocalypse in the most efficient of ways. Her iso attack may not give energy, but it does give +2 deflect to the lowest health bionic avenger ally. I think she's actually a pretty good striker

Yes, I think one a skirm and the other a striker makes sense, similar to Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel. Vision also chains on his basic.

HB & Viv are Striker bc of barrier and deflects. Rest are Raider.
