The song wasn’t created to lure. It was created between a mother and son that Agatha used to lure after his passing. The witches listening to the song weren’t being lured to the road, they were being lured to take him and feed him.
I sure hope Nicholas Scratch gets a comic accurate look because he looks so cool in the comics and it would be so cool to see him in a future project, even if it is just a cameo to conclude Agatha’s story
So far, shy of Winter Soldier, this is my favorite Marvel. I have watched the series fully 3 times and am ENTRANCED by the Ballad of The Witches’ Road (already learning to play it on my guitar). LOVE THIS SERIES! I need season 2 already!!! ❤💜💙
An interesting possibility for "made from scratch" would be that Nicholas was made from (or with the help from) "Old Scratch," that is the Devil himself or possibly Mephisto (since you haven't brought him up in this video.) The Marvel comic lore surrounding Nicholas Scratch lets his father remain a mystery. Interestingly enough, he plots to bring Shuma-Gorath to Earth.
The thing is, Billy grew up in a hex so it makes sense he would create one and one based on pop culture seeing as that was also what the hex he was born in was based on.
So it was always implied that Agatha did something awful to Nicky, possibly sacrificing him to attain the Darkhold, but we saw nothing like that, so did Agatha do anything bad pertaining to Nicky? Seems like something was left out there.
No, the curse was already there. Generational curse and billy can read minds so idk somehow maybe subconsciously he read their minds and found their trauma
I think he manifested it as their specific trial. As in they all actually had their personal trials shoved into his witches road. He is strong enough to create a witches road based off what Agatha and other research he’s done on the witches road. Cuz I’m pretty sure they already knew the road would give them specific trials before they even started the “ritual”
Actually yeah how does he know about ghost mom? The curse I can understand it just takes from what’s already there but did the road read Agatha’s mind or did billy?
The writers all loved Agatha too much. Falling in love with your villain leads to tonal inconsistencies. Overall I really enjoyed this season of TV but imho, S2 of Loki is head & shoulders above this & everything else from Disney +
5:12 It’s curious that the witches’ scream “who let you in” even though one clearly let Agatha in… which makes me wonder if someone else *cough cough our favorite unseen villain* might be involved in these vicious acts.
And (more out of curiosity), the 3 mile radius coven rule: any *inhabited* 3 mile radius? So not like, in the ocean or a desert I’d assume? What about people who live alone more than 3 miles from anyone else? What about when people travel through deserted places?
Invalidating the journey of the characters because 'Billy just made it all up' is so strange to me because that was the whole premise of Wandavision (Wanda made it all up and thats exactly what gave it the emotional gravitas. Both shows simply manifest inner conflicts and emotional journeys in imaginary spaces and I think thats not only creatively but psychologically super interesting.

Season 2 they elaborate more on Agatha's back story as Billy and agatha search for Tommy, Then in a 4th as yet unnamed series all three along with white vision searching for wanda which will lead into the Scarlett witch movie.
I'm looking forward to a future with PhantasmAgatha!
PhantAgatha if you will 😂❤
The colors of the road are the same colors as the infinity stones in the same order they appear in the MCU.
woah that's a cool detail!
can you remind me the colors/stones order? I know it's tesseract first
@andisfeliz I'll probably get it wrong if I attempt to name them haha.
@@andisfeliz the order is: Space (tessseract) > Mind (Scepter) > Reality (Aether) > Power (Orb) > Time (Eye of Agamotto) > Soul (Vormír)
Thanks for clarifying Agatha's story in this series.
I watched Ep 8 without realizing there was another episode and I thought it was a good season finale. Today I discovered Ep 9 and after watching it, it felt like an epilogue
I was honestly hoping to see Lorna Wu as one of the witches in the flashback.
The song wasn’t created to lure. It was created between a mother and son that Agatha used to lure after his passing.
The witches listening to the song weren’t being lured to the road, they were being lured to take him and feed him.
I feel like “who’s Sharon?” is gonna be the nerd equivalent to “bye, Felicia!” and I’m so ready for it.
It makes me sad because I love that actress. :(
This is why we love NR. Thanks for not rushing it.
So Wanda’s hex was above ground in Westview, and billy’s pentagon or hex was underneath Westview.
Thanks for taking ur time instead of trying to just shove out content! I do appreciate that!!!!
I sure hope Nicholas Scratch gets a comic accurate look because he looks so cool in the comics and it would be so cool to see him in a future project, even if it is just a cameo to conclude Agatha’s story
“Whose Sharon” needs to be a shirt! Got to give Mrs. Foreman some justice! 😭
Personally I want a “Mr Shart” shirt
So far, shy of Winter Soldier, this is my favorite Marvel. I have watched the series fully 3 times and am ENTRANCED by the Ballad of The Witches’ Road (already learning to play it on my guitar). LOVE THIS SERIES! I need season 2 already!!! ❤💜💙
Ummm. The first episode was not Agatha All Along, it was Agatha’s of Westview. Maybe that was deliberate
Agnes
"Magic on autopilot!" 😌
An interesting possibility for "made from scratch" would be that Nicholas was made from (or with the help from) "Old Scratch," that is the Devil himself or possibly Mephisto (since you haven't brought him up in this video.)
The Marvel comic lore surrounding Nicholas Scratch lets his father remain a mystery. Interestingly enough, he plots to bring Shuma-Gorath to Earth.
We still need to know how Agatha aquired the Darkhold!!!
Who’s been conjuring up the road? It’s been maximoff all along
I want that shirt "Whos Sharan"!?
That's Cher-Ohn... 😅😂
@@sethbieber5127 Who?
Who's Saran? That's a wrap on that joke. 😂
@@jerryward3311 that's Sharon...
The thing is, Billy grew up in a hex so it makes sense he would create one and one based on pop culture seeing as that was also what the hex he was born in was based on.
Or.... he simply inherited Wanda's powers.
So it was always implied that Agatha did something awful to Nicky, possibly sacrificing him to attain the Darkhold, but we saw nothing like that, so did Agatha do anything bad pertaining to Nicky? Seems like something was left out there.
11:53 gotta love the Hamilton reference 😂
I'm just such a fan of Elizabeth Hahn. I really enjoyed this series.
So, did Billy also manifest the "curse" for Alice to defeat? And the ghost image of Agatha's mom in ghost form?
No, the curse was already there. Generational curse and billy can read minds so idk somehow maybe subconsciously he read their minds and found their trauma
Or he created the space for those things to manifest?
I think he manifested it as their specific trial. As in they all actually had their personal trials shoved into his witches road. He is strong enough to create a witches road based off what Agatha and other research he’s done on the witches road. Cuz I’m pretty sure they already knew the road would give them specific trials before they even started the “ritual”
Actually yeah how does he know about ghost mom? The curse I can understand it just takes from what’s already there but did the road read Agatha’s mind or did billy?
No they faced the curse and broke it
I'm expecting a multiverse Sharon in Secret Wars. I do really like your summary of the story as putting an end to the, "Agatha problem."
I think the Darkhold plot was just a misdirect so ppl didn't figure out the witches road & Nicky part of the story
The writers all loved Agatha too much. Falling in love with your villain leads to tonal inconsistencies. Overall I really enjoyed this season of TV but imho, S2 of Loki is head & shoulders above this & everything else from Disney +
I throughtly enjoyed this series. I am glad Marvel did it. This really is the season of the witch
I love a good hold over until Monday. Thanks fellas 🙏🏼
5:12 It’s curious that the witches’ scream “who let you in” even though one clearly let Agatha in… which makes me wonder if someone else *cough cough our favorite unseen villain* might be involved in these vicious acts.
13:54 *Agatha, not Wanda
I was literally rewinding it going back and replaying it thinking Wanda on trial? Thats Agatha not Wanda lol
I was just coming to say the same thing and timestamp and everything 😅
I was just going to say that
Lmao this stuck to me I paused the whole video like "what?"
Good catch!
And (more out of curiosity), the 3 mile radius coven rule: any *inhabited* 3 mile radius? So not like, in the ocean or a desert I’d assume? What about people who live alone more than 3 miles from anyone else? What about when people travel through deserted places?
Great video like always
This is the best Disney Marvel series to date. The writing, the acting, the production, it’s just really good.
This was really useful. Always so from NR. You are the GOATs and you know it!!
It's the 4th already!!! Can't wait 🤗
The kid drowning was Tommy Shepherd from the comics
ugh i love this channel
Katherine said that they (witches) didn't need "fathers". So I think the "made from scratch" is refering to the labor.
"who's sharon?" -- Epic.
What I don’t understand is, why does Jen and Billy leave after getting what they want from the witches road but Alice and Lilia don’t?
They never made it to the end of the "road", Jen and Billy completed all the trials, Alice and Lilia died on the journey.
@@LadyEliana-1I mean, technically Jen and Billy didn’t finish the Earth trial, Agatha did
It's all in Billy's mind, the rules are based on his imagination how the trials will end.
@@Andrew-ww1hz I think you can look at it more abstractly. The earth trial is all about growth, and Jen and Billy were able to grow as people by confronting their issues. Jen unbound herself and Billy found and helped Tommy find a body on earth.
Oh my god is Tommy Jason Voorhees? Just playing.
😂
Ha, good reference
I've just realised what a non terrifying name for a cerial killer "jason" is. I guess because its so iconic i never questioned it, but thats such a normal non threatening name 😂.
@ thank you ❤️
@@Unbrickable27like Jeffry,or Charles? lol
“Who’s Sharon?” 😂 that’s sofa king cruel but so hilarious too
This was sooo good I’m sorry to see this end
They told us this all along😂 Billy is short for William! When he says I'm William in the 🪞 !! 🤯
No ones gonna say anthing about 0 post credits scene ?
2:27 I thought they were searching for a suitable body for Tommy's spirit, not looking for Tommy
Right on time, I’ve got something to do in 20 mins lol
Didnt they say in 1 if the episodes that Agatha was the only witch to have been on the road and something about taking the others power at the end?.. I'll go back and watch it again
Love from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤
I’ll be waiting on Monday 😅😂
Lilia’s episode is only as good as it is because of everything that came before. Stand alone, it doesn’t work, but as a culmination, it is magnificent!
I really want that Agatha Rio backstory I hope we get it at some point .
As above so below = As Wanda’s hex reality was above ground, Billy’s hex reality was below ground
