My favorites are always the delta,green berets,rangers interview,there was something that's speaks volume about their lives.and oh my favorite of all is John "sherk" McPhee who have done all that. Keep it up Ryan 💯💯💯
I found Ryan on Spotify and realized it was better to watch them on RUclips and I gotta agree with you on John “Shrek” being the best one. They had such a good talk both times that I was able to take a lot of life advice from. Not to mention the humor of him!
I love these stories. They're hard to listen to, getting through the pain that never goes away. Losing friends in war. It's so tough. This guy is awesome. He's prevailed through it all.

Was medically retired around 2011 at 38yrs old, its rough being staked down but you can do it buddy, my best advice to give is find a hobby that keeps you busy everyday!

I use pain killers at the moment in hospital but for me I use my art as pain killers I focus on the journey of starting my art piece using bright colour paint pens to deal with the pain and focus on this so its uplifting positive the more you use pain killers then you need stronger then stronger and sadly you become addicted my art is the pain killer Lyn thank you for sharing Lyn ❤
Ive been on pain killers since 2005, ive tried every kind their is. Any advice i can give would be to stay away from Fentanyl patches, was on those for around 3yrs and those alone almost killed me and i was taking as directed. Fentanyl is extremely hard to stop, MAJOR withdrawal symptoms.

Doubt he’d do something like this though… He’s been out for almost five years and just finished law school and passed his bar exam… He’s a badass! And cool af! Some of the funniest stories ever too! But I have to pull it out of him to get him to tell them… He’s so freaking humble, you’d never know he was CCT unless you already knew him or somehow caught him mentioning it on a rare random occasion… Love that dude to death and so proud of him!

I feel conflicted watching these videos. Aren't we leaving Afganistan now and the Taliban taking back over? I hope all this loss, sacrifice and heartbreak given by these amazing Americans was worth it.
What got bleeped out around 42:03 when he mentioned his first helo assault? I don't understand how you become a Green Beret, especially in the middle of two ongoing wars where the primary insertion method for both conventional and special forces is by helo, and you've never once practiced an assault exiting from a helicopter? Makes no sense to me.
JSOC gets priority for helo insertion in theater. All other units have to make do with what’s available. It sounds like he was in a very remote area so it doesn’t surprise me they didn’t have helicopters to get around.

Circumstantial, sometimes you miss a school because the odds weren't in your favour, even if it is extremely unlikely, it can happen.
There was a few things off. I think he is what the Marines refer to as a POG.
