This is a blast from the past. Over 70 years ago, I used to ride a metregage train (Martin Railway, a private company) from Kolkata's Belgachiya station to Babuihati. I believe the fare was 6 paisa or so. The final destination of the train used to be Bashirhat. It was so nostalgic. People would jump in and out without paying between stations. There used to be jungle on both sides once you passed Babuihati. I do not know whether there is any railway there anymore once Martin Railway was closed down. Enjoyed your video. @@ajitandyokothakur7191 there is a railway line going towards basirhat but not that same alignment via baguihati... currently a line goes to basirhat upto hasnabad via barasat junction..
