Man, I just love this video. The first couple minutes are where it’s at. Being a dad and husband gives meaning to everything else in life. It’s all worth it. I have three boys similar ages to yours, and it feels like there isn’t ever time. But the work you’re doing before 9 and after 12 is the real deal. And when you get them out on the water one day soon and have that trip of a lifetime, they’ll be all the more happy because you laid the right foundation. Keep up the good work.
Great vid sir! Watched y'all with Robert Arrington and been following ever since. You're a good Dad, family is the priority! Thank you for sharing your set up for bank fishing!
My name is Eddy Matchette (pronounced like the knife) . I LOVE this channel!!! I’ve been a subscriber but this is the first time I saw the crawfish bread episode. Can’t wait to make it. I live in Houston, Texas and one day I’m definitely going to visit your hometown and eat some REAL Cajun food!!! Would love to go crappie fishing with you 👍🎣. Keep making videos and I’ll keep watching. Thanks
Rio Grande cichlid is a new one for me. Beautiful fish and I'm glad they taste good too. Yep I started fishing farm ponds and small creeks dipping worms as a kid.
Being a parent is #1 and it will produce dividends for many years to come. I loved to fish but I knew that the kids came first always. Loved your fishing videos and cooking part of your days.
Where the levee's end, the fun begins!!! One of my new coworkers is from Central, LA - I am getting more and more determined to come out and see what the Sportsmans' paradise is all about.
Hey, what's happening my bro!!! Nice video you always take care of business, please be sure and enjoy this time with the boys.. because before you kno it they'll be all grown up, keep up the good work bro.💯
Great Video, Dude, wife working you being a dad and trying to make the RUclips work. You put out great videos just give it time, it will all be worth it. Good Job!
Next time your fishing in the bay take a 5g bucket and your corn. Soak it a couple hours in the salt water then onto the bbq. Awesome with any fish.... You're killin it. Thanks for the show
Do some more bank fishing. Sorry I'm late! Can you get a crappie video together? Right eyes are the best cut of meat, and to season them, I use a 50/50 mix of black pepper and garlic salt. Try it, man, it's awesome! And , I also keep them basted with butter while on the grill.
Put the fun back in fishing, I’ve fished some really high end places, all over the continent. I’m still at peace, near the water, with a wet line... my grandkids are very young but very soon this is what’s in store. Who dosnt like shore fishing!
@@ballistic350 I'll be honest they all kinda taste the same to me fried. I like bluegill because I grew up a yankee and we didn't have crappie, cichlids, and our only invasive were carp.
1, helping to get rid of invasive species 2, good food 3, can try at home 4, great entertainment.
Very well shot and made video.
Man thank you so much for the support
It’s cool to see you bank fish. Not everyone has access to a boat. Good way to start the kids off. Great work!
Looked at. our notes from our conversation that was your first one!
Jared just like I said before. I’m binge watching while I’m being stuck inside this damn VA Hospital. Love em all

Amen brother. Props to my wife for handling while I built this channel the last two years.
I especially liked that skiff you were fishing next to. Would love to own one of those with a big V-8 in it. 4:49
I too will keep a little bass i catch while bream fishing. The tears of the bass fisherman help keep the fish nice and moist.
You got that right!
Next time your fishing in the bay take a 5g bucket and your corn. Soak it a couple hours in the salt water then onto the bbq.

Amen to that

Thank you so much for heading over Donna I am honored to have you
It's all good, buddy. Family comes first.

Great vid jarod
Here in Florida everything is invasive now! Lol
Man I wish we had some of the invasives y'all have
a yeti bucket?
you're too rich for my blood
Had to sell my kidney for it
Can’t believe y’all got those fish in the water now. Wow that’s crazy!
Yeah I knew they had them in New Orleans but first I've seen them here.
I have a question why does the water in the video’s alway look muddy?
Google Missisissippi River delta and you can learn why
Thanks for the info.
I love the videos that on RUclips Outside The Levee’s .
You ever try Papa Jons Garlic Butter when cooking?
I have not. What you recommend?
Put the fun back in fishing, I’ve fished some really high end places, all over the continent.

Jared, are these cichlids in PLH ?
I don’t think so
Wow, I might try bank fishing 😀
That's a fire backyard
Come chill with us bruh dont be scared.
Give out but never give up🎣
The little ones are the best to me . Mmm fish fry . And bank fishing with worms is all I've ever done with my daddy .
Yes indeed!
Can’t go wrong with the Salter Pole.
It's aight. They break easily though
I’m coming down soon if you see a Red Stratos holla we will go catch some fish.
Hot rocky streams are its natural habitat...we've made a whole lot of cichlid habitat in the last generation
true that
I know what a Sac a Lait is but for those that don't speak cajun It is called a crappie.
Do they taste good?
How'd you like that Salters jiggin pole
So far I love it but that was my first time catching with it.
Those are Native here in the southern Texas
Very cool fish
that bass looked short
Looked good to me. Had enough meat to make it worth it
you dont need to cook sweet corn. Its best when took right off the stalk. its like,,, do you need to cook a watermelon?
Cool. Never tried it
👻
Thank you for watching
Them cichlids probably taste like Talapia huh?
Tilapia and Rio Grandes are all cichlids, so I bet they do taste similar.
Man it's been so long since I've had tilapia I'm honestly not sure. I can tell you this it's very white and mild.
@@briarsandbantams crappies or gills better?
@@ballistic350 I'll be honest they all kinda taste the same to me fried. I like bluegill because I grew up a yankee and we didn't have crappie, cichlids, and our only invasive were carp.
You need a kayak
Bank fishing is cool
No sear
Some nice inside jokes in this one.
I got jokes lol
