- In this video, I am going to teach you 5 English idioms that you can use to talk about fashion and clothing. We will also take a walk in the "Quadrilatero della Moda" or the fashion district of the city of Milan in Italy.
English Language is full of vocabulary, idioms, nouns and verbs about Fashion and clothing. Fashion and clothing is an inseparable part of our daily life. Therefore, it is important to know how to talk about fashion and clothing in English language. In this video, I am not going to teach you the names of items of clothing. Rather, I will teach you 5 cool idioms that you can use to talk about fashion and clothing. Below is the list of idioms with sections for your convenience:

00: 25 Introducing the fashion district of Milan: Milan is one of the world fashion capitals in the world (together with Paris, New York and London". There is a luxurious neighborhood in the city known as "Quadrilatero della Moda" where the most famous fashion brands have stores. Examples are Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Jacob Cohen, Il Bisonte, Gianni Chiarini Firenze, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe and Dior (I will show you all these stores in the video! Bonus for fashion lovers!)

For the first idiom, I think it comes from the people's action that they roll up the sleeves of their shirts before doing a hard or busy job like lifting a heavy load or being about to cook a big and delicious meal for the family so that they can be comfortable and easy for their movement . I had not heard this from others ,it is just my opinion .

Personally speaking, I adore following the classic-elegant line of fashion; nevertheless, I find it unnecessary to keep up with the latest fashion trends, especially when they are incongruous with who I am.
