1. DIY Cork Board
You'll Need:
wine corks
cardboard
cord
acrylic paint
watercolor paint
hot glue
Here's How:
1.1 Cut the cardboard into a heart and paint it with acrylic paint.
1.2 Use hot glue to cover the entire surface of the cardboard heart with corks.
1.3 Paint the cork tops with watercolor paint.
1.4 Hot glue a piece of cord to the back of the heart to use as a hanger. Now you have the perfect decorative cork board to hang pictures, reminders, and memorabilia.
2. DIY Bath Mat
You'll Need:
about 175 corks (depending on size)
anti-slip mat
hot glue
Here's How:
Cut the corks in half lengthwise and glue them side-by-side on the anti-slip mat as shown.
3. Homemade Stamps
Recreate a craft classic from your school days! Use a knife to carve the design of your choice in a wine cork and apply paint to the motif when you want to get stamping.
4. DIY Furniture Gliders
To keep your furniture from making annoying noises or leaving unsightly scratches on your wooden floor, cut a cork into thin slices and stick it under the furniture legs as an alternative to felt gliders.
