Hi! For bigger bags like this, I usually use 5mm zippers. For wallets and coin purses, I use 3 mm zippers. I am sorry for the late response. Thank you so much for the kind comment and I am glad you like the outcome of my bag projects. Please try them someday. 💕😊❤🤗

I am not a great zipper installer. I followed as best I could and when I turn it right sides out the zipper was inside the purse up side down. Ugh

PS: Which Size is the outer Pocket? And what Seam Allowence for the Strap and the Body? 😊
Hi Tine! The jeans pocket is 18 cm in height and the top length is 17 cm. It's okay if your pocket is smaller. That will work too. I use 0.7 cm as my seam allowance, 0.3 cm for my top stitch. I am so glad you will give this project a try! Have fun and as always, thank you so much! 💕🤗❤️😊

I found inserting the zipper quite tricky. I used a separating bag zipper and it was very difficult bending over the ends and then sewing it down. Also when it’s all assembled , then having to put the zipper pull back on leaves no margin for error. Isn’t there an easier way
Of doing a recessed zipper??

Your videos are great and I have enjoyed watching them. Are you using 100% cotton denim for your bags, or modern denim with spandex?
Also a suggestion, it would be EXTREMELY helpful to beginners in the U.S. if you included the fabric dimensions in inches as well as centimeters. It can be overwhelming to someone just beginning to have to stop and do the conversions when they are still learning. Thanks in advance 🤗
Maybe you can answer my question. I do not know how much seam allowances are being used? At least if it would say in metric, I could figure it out. I tried 1/4 inch on one of her bags, and I had a mess....but I made it work....
