@bilbobaggins7075 Buster doesnt do the visuals. Its Riivata which is Tuomas and Patrik from Atlas. Tuomas is also in HLB though

@@MegaLaban12345Unofficially it is lol. With all the bands Buster writes and produces for, he’s leaving a very distinct mark on modern heavy music. Similar to the mid 2010s and the “Putneycore” sound.
In an era of which our attention spans are short and we do not appreciate art anymore. We seriously need to appreciate this and the work/effort Buster and the guys put into this. \m/
That's definitely one thing I say when describing H.L.B.. Along with heavy as fuck, or brutal, I talk about how artistic the music is. I really appreciate that aspect of it.
@@thecauldronofdarkness1757 Best way I can describe newer HLB is just “overwhelming”. The new singles have an uncanny ability to completely overwhelm your emotional receptors and leave you awestruck because you don’t really know what to feel. Fantastic for the length of an album, but not something the average person could listen to constsntly.
The production is insane. Buster is one of the top tier mixing engineers out there in my book
What's proof is that he can make a note as low as B-1 have extremely high clarity.

@@ishay777777777Buster and Calle write everything, but ultimately it’s Buster’s band. There would be no HLB without him.
Who is buster? Guitarist?
@@moztar6247guitarist, he also writes most of the other parts of the instrumental and then also mixes and masters their songs. He’s one of the best mixing and mastering engineers there is imo
@@moztar6247 Buster Odeholm and Calle Thomer (also in Vildhjarta) are the guitarists who write everything for HLB. Buster started HLB, but after joining Vildhjarta on drums he’s taken a lot of influence from the band- and Vice versa. Both bands are heavily connected and influence each other.
Still pushing the boundaries of what heavy metal is known for every single time you drop new material. Excelent.

I'm so sorry for your loss omg( I can say that I have clinical depression actually but idkw after both Instill and Linger I felt like wow I wanna live fuck that depression. So this is what makes thall so special I guess. Because it has such a crazy amount of powerfulness in just one song that it just absorbs everything we feel, it dominates upon our feelings. What an unimaginable ability, holy shit...

@@moonshelter3448 I think that is why I like heavy music in general but especially thall. It feels so massive and destructive that nothing can stand against it. Even all my problems and vague anxieties are crushed.

This is a masterpiece. It's brutal and beautiful at the same time.
I think this is my favorite song from the album...intro kicks fuckin ass, chorus is catchy as fuck....outro with that bass is just massive. Lyrics spot on. THERE IS NOOOO LIGHT HEREEEEE!!! Love it.
I thought after their last album and Earthless nothing could be heavier...but MAN the ending with the off beat hi-hat and massive double bass was absolutely earth-shattering 🔥 amazing work guys!
I can only imagine how excited Buster was hearing this after hearing everyone contribute their part

The time signature changes and tempo changes are so subtle but hit SOOO HARD!
Favorite track by them so far, wow...this one pulled me in where others somehow didn't. I kept trying...now I'm so glad that I did!

The suspense is already killing me. 'Instill' scratched a musical 'itch' I didn't know I even had. Trying not to get my hopes up too high for this one 😂
Happy to report this new track "Linger" absolutely destroys. 6th listen and I'm starting to notice all the cool little details. The future of extreme metal is in safe hands.
Same, instill was the first 10/10 I've heard in a couple years. I've accepted the possibility that it will be my favorite on the album, but I'm hoping that there will be some close runner ups.

After Vildhjarta’s last album I thought „it cant get anywhere better”, after „Instill” I thought „it cant get fucking better”, after this song all I have to say is „THALL”.
That last Vildhjarta album is still on regular rotation for me. It is a masterpiece.
