@@The___Don How's the performance uplift? I might think about an OC when it cools off here, or I actually need some extra performance in some of the games I play.
I have this one, does not disappoint. Milage wikl vary but I got mine to run on a -50mv undervolt and my memory clocks at 950. Max it will let me. The UV is also at stock max boost target of 2054.
Im here for Buildzoid! Bought a GPU on the base of Buildzoids reviews last days, such influence he got! Reviews with fps/temp/noise are ok but getting some tech to that card is unbeatable.
Thanks for the review- sure some people may be going "30 minutes!?!" but you talk sense, you are informative and you understanding rubs off on people though your explanations. The 5700xt GPU is a nice GPU to have regardless (almost) to the configuration of the board that it's on. You show what the difference between good cards and the 'almost' designs.
All my ATI and AMD cards, and there were quite a few, were from Sapphire and they never disappoint. Never buying a card from a different manufacturer (definitely not from "Half-of-a-pad-on-memory" MSI).
7 phases for the 7nm gpu released on the 7th of the 7th. i'm pretty sure it's this kind of logic dictating how many power phases the 5700 series features.
Oh, so this dropped on GN. Was waiting for it on AHOC but whichever really. Anyway, been waiting for Buildzoid's take on this ever since the card dropped since am planning to get it, so there might be some confirmation bias as far as I'm concerned but this really looks pretty decent. Really wanted a card with horizontal fins and unlike the 580 I've got now, the Nitro went for a vertical stack this time.
Hey BZ/Steve my pulse XT has different Caps and inductors...i changed the thermal paste last week and i noticed the difference..... could it be that this is an early sample? Cant' say about the VRMs because i didn't take off the plate that covers them and the mem chips
The question is, will there be any other card which offers the same value as this one? So far, it would seem that this is clearly the best version of the 5700 XT. Anything more expensive is not worth it (and, in many cases, inferior in quality as well), and anything cheaper is much worse. I have seen a couple of other similarly priced dual fan models out there which might be good, but I haven't seen any reviews on them yet.
I have a problem on the pci power supply, especially on the 3.3v line on the phase does not arrive 1.8 volts, I checked all the components, there is a fuse that arrives 3.3 on the left of the phase, between fuse and phase there is a capacitor, until they arrive but the rest is 0 volts towards cpu, really I'm going crazy what would you recommend, the pc does not recognize the graphics card, does not overheat, does not see its own.
Very technically EVGA and Sapphire aren’t even direct competitors. Sapphire exclusively makes AMD GPUs, EVGA only makes Nvidia GPUs (and a bunch of other more boutique products)
Hi. Anyone please. I badly need help with a transistor from this board! Just on above of the fan connector, there is a transistor soldered on the Q211. Can anyone who has this GPU tell me what exactly is written on this SOT23 transistor? I am missing this transistor on Q211
Anything on the ASUS TUF GAMING X3 5700 XT? It's $420 with a near triple-slot design (2.7 Slot) and three fans and looks actually like a pretty good card for the money.
You confused me with the timers on the left by reversing the order from top to bottom to bottom to top. Or am I blind and it hasnt changed? If those are the same fuses that Apple uses then Rossmann Repair Group has proven that it isnt possible for them to actually blow lol.
@@GamersNexus if you can put the timer in the area at the top where nothing is at that would probably be the best place to put it. Just put it as like a ticker style timer instead that way when it gets to the end it'll go to the next subject smoothly.
You should really find a new sponsor because the NU Audio card I am amazed it didn't short anything out; I have never longer legs left on a card in my life. Also it wasn't packaged in an anti-static bag? what the hell EVGA.... and honestly have you tried this card you find it acceptable or is this just cash in your pocket? It's not in mine because I clicked your link to buy it and I am disappointed in my decision of trusting you. P.S. The picture of your video isn't what the end users get; maybe you got a pre-production unit that was done right?
I'm water cooling a reference 5700XT in an open loop with a 3600X. Using a Danger Den Maze 4 GPU block I've had since 2005 and used on countless GPU's. Idles 28c, loads 53c. I disagree that it's "silly." :)
Why don't we have standardized PCB-layouts per tier (power consumption) of graphics card? It would be a lot better if we could buy one heatsink and keep using that. Not only better for the end-user (less expensive, always the best quality of cooling) but we would also waste less metal. Newsflash, metal is not environmental-friendly.
Would have been clear cut the one to get for my needs and amount I am prepared to spend on gaming, but Nvidia back tracked on the Great Turing Robbery and launched the 2070 Super. Now it is not so clear cut. Super is a bit quicker, but the good ones are quite a bit more pricey. I think RX5700xt prices will come down and make them more attractive. No sign of a 5800xt yet. I ditched my trusty old 2500k for a 2700X. I have a 3700X now. RX590 Nitro replaced a 1050ti. 5700XT Pulse seems to be the one to go for based on NZ prices, but I am in no hurry. Game I am playing is CPU bound, so the 3700x largely fixed that. I need to check out if I would be better saving money and going for the 5700 non XT. I kind of regret getting the RX590 and should have got the RX570 8GB at the time while doing the 'waiting for Navi' thing. Way cheaper here in NZ, but not that much slower.
@@linkflap1342 570 is awesome at high 1080 on a tv, I used that for most of this year. But, upgraded my monitor to 2560x1080 75hz ultra-wide and Powercolor dualfan 5700xt and it is more awesome, even though that card is not 3x better like the price suggest. My new monitor is really really maxing it out.
The Sapphire AMD 5700 XT not only runs within spec < 110c during stress testing at 98% usage... it also isn't loud in a case.... my top fans are louder? Am I an idiot or just luckY?
I’d like to see a Toxic, but I actually doubt that it’s gonna be worth it to the average consumer over the Pulse. Even the Nitro is already hard to justify over the Pulse.

That problem was confined to the now long gone first batch as far as I know. And what Tech Yes City video was that in? I've just looked through the last 4 months worth and none of them were billed as being on that subject.

Budget, superior, quality are words you don't usually hear all describing the same product.
They kinda are when you're comparing to reference designs.
Some products does live up to it when you look at the right places and not just the downright bad ones available.

One could argue that 3 80 mm fans will definitely run louder than 2 100mm fans
