Worthy and powerful. It’s true that I feel powerful when I help someone become better/successful. And I feel powerful when I know I COULD destroy someone and choose not to because i feel prideful about being “the better person.” ISTP
All the times in my life I’ve felt the most miserable were when I was lacking the “how” to fulfil my particular Ni child goal at the time. I always cursed my family and school growing up for not teaching me enough. Totally true about the outdated information thing. My ENFJ mother does that as well.
@@RoseyCreationsi completely get that perspective and have totally seen it play out in reality, that validation turns into a consumption of power, because youre only validated by people you look up to, and those people hold power. so it becomes a game of learning what you need to know through validation, and you lot get hella pissed when we see the game and kick you off the board.
@@nethercords Well, more so; in the video, CSJ specifically said ENFJs consume validation, and INFPs produce power. And that there is a trade-off with the shadow. That would mean ENFJs produce power with INFP shadow, and ISTPs are the ones to consume power because of ESTJ shadow. I already detected the pattern (since he said INFJs produce intimacy, and ESTPs consume intimacy): the introverted type produces the origin, and the extroverted type consumes the origin.
The ESTJ/INFP control of power reminds me of the anime My Hero Academia. The story of One for All vs. all for One is an example of using power for onself (which ends up becoming force and is lost) vs. using it for the good for others. Deku is one of the best good fictional symbols for INFPs. "Not all those who seek for power are evil" -All Might
Deku seems to be too movement oriented to be an infp. Moreover, he's very determined and will get his way whatever it takes like like all the time. He doesn't like people to help him (classic Fi critic + Ti child with Ni hero influence) like how he tries to get away from his friends to protect them from all for one. Classic Si demon sacrifice, similar to Eren Si demon sacrifice. He make multiple sacrifices constantly to the point you don't think he cares about his experience, like how he tries to save bakugo from that muddy monster and uraraka from the robot, heck he doesn't care if he has to use one for all 100% on his fingers to the point it obliterated his arm multiple times. He clearly thinks other people are more valuable and want other people to have good experience even if he has to sacrifice his own. He knows what he wants and he has that direction. I don't see deku wanting authority or power over his life. In the beginning, he's just a dude who idolizes people like bakugo and all might. He's a UD SF INFJ. SF because he tries to optimize thing for himself, doing more with less just like how he figures out how to distribute the one for all power to his body so he can achieve efficiency in power without hurting his body. He also learns from other heroes that he idolizes and even the villains that he discriminates(secondary shadow poll) to create a solution to a problem. Deku have that Te mastery because of that idealization UD.
The refinement pair could work really well when both participants focus on educating the other, in perpetuity, for the entire duration of the marriage.
As ISTPs are the source of validation it means others need to appreciate their validation of them so that the ISTP feels loved? So it's back to others accepting them, their Ti?
Sorry to hear about your friend. The below verse sums up for me why people crumble - exactly as you said, go get knowledge. “And how canst thou be patient with what thou hast not encompassed in knowledge?” (18:68) Quran. Translation by Sam Gerrans.
So how do you prevent manifestation 'fake it till you make it' from turning into ignorance, not telling the truth and 'the blind leading the blind' so to speak?
Words of affirmation are quite high as these types are on the Fi-Te axis which is more status oriented or in other words they are happy when they meet the norms (morals) of society or their own values and get confirmed. For INFP they likely also like Acts of Service, Te is their inferior/aspiration that's why they are often attracted to high Te. The high Te user will sooth their Te Inferor needs.
@@Brickwilliams People are always attracted to what they aspire to(inferior). Are you talking socionics? Are you aware that an INFP is an INFj in socionic terms? They swap the last letter based on the dominant function compared to the MBTI abbreviation which is used here. So it is not a conflict type relationship.
@@RonFlux what do you mean by attracted? Do they want to be more like high te users, yes. Are they socially compatible with high te users, fuck no and if you think so then you haven’t watched any of chases compatibility lectures, nor have you listened to much of his lectures at all.
@@Brickwilliams INFPs and ESTJs share the same valued cognitive functions, so they are part of the same quadra. So it's easier for them to understand where the other person is coming from. Yes, they can be in conflict when the ESTJ pushs the INFP to do something while ignoring moral values. These don't necessarily need to be the direct values of the INFP, could just be ESTJs ignoring moral valued overall, but there is still an appreciation when the ESTJ takes care of the Te and the INFP doesn't need to do it themselves. It fits the love language of acts of service. This is what I mean being attracted to it. PS: I watched the compatibility lectures, in the end Chase is just telling us that the extraverted function is attracted to the introverted part of a function. Something you can read in the first pages of Psychological Types from Carl Jung when he talks about the subject and the object. These are not the only possible attractions, see the Inferior to Dominant attraction I mention here.

ISTP
Oh shit.
Credulity: I do that. I filter down to wise people and bend to their influence. Is has been an “I win” button for myself.
I eat validation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and this video confirmed it 😌
Lol, enfj?

Hey @C.S Joseph - do you do counselling?
So how do you prevent manifestation 'fake it till you make it' from turning into ignorance, not telling the truth and 'the blind leading the blind' so to speak?
