Back around 2009,2010, i was looking into my father's coin jar so i could reimburse them for cash dollars. I looked thru all of them. Found some buffalo nickels, silver quarters, wheat cents, and 1 odd looking 1943S heavy bronze coin. It had a very bright gold tone to it. And later i noticed, it stuck to magnets. I asked my father if i can take this and clean of some of the dried meat that was clinging onto it. Took almost 3 weeks getting the tar-like black meat off of it. Trying to clean it off, it also took off the brilliant bright gold tone. Later, i used my smartphone to see what the price of that coin was. But there was no information about it. During April of 2011, it disappeared from my l.a. apartment bedroom. Along with a Coach guy's wallet that's $75. I filed a police report around December of that year. Did it late cause, one, my back was hurting, and 2, tried to make an appointment with a detective but kept missing the hour

For the life of me I cannot understand how such an error coin as the Paisa can occur? After it is struck wouldn't the coin be removed from the hopper, or the striking chamber? Anyone have an explanation?
It's an odd one to be sure. The 2 Paisa coins themselves were actually struck at the San Francisco Mint, on behalf of Nepal by the US. So that explains why the base coin was even there to begin with. But how it got fed into the coining press, whether it was done accidentally or deliberately is up for debate.
I had the Aluminum 74 s in 1975 in St . Louis and lost my coin , Stamp and Meteorite collecting during my parents divorce and moving around so much in the late 70's early 80's :(

Remember I mentioned that the 1919 is not a rare coin in itself. The coin depicted is a conditional rarity. It is the only one that has been graded as MS69 Red. in other terms : Pop 1 with 0 finer. If your 19 penny is graded as a 69 Red then it would be worth a lot as well, otherwise not so much. Hope that clears things up.
