- It was only a matter of time before I built the Super Mario Bros, Mario and Luigi in DnD. But since it was requested by a viewer, that time is now.

As some have already beat me to saying, "HEREEEE WE GOOOO" time to build both of the Super Mario Brothers in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, Mario Mario and Luigi Mario have a few key differences, but it was definitely a fun Nintendo build.
EDIT: @Noditian Niz-Emir made a super great point, so taking a deeper look, on the character sheets on my Patreon I swapped Firebolt for Produce Flame because this feels more accurate in description and also gives us the ability to use our Wisdom for the cantrip making us more likely to hit.
Also added in Thunderclap, I didn't mention it in the video, but since you get 2 cantrips with Magic Initiate, this gives us the chance to do the Ground Pound/Butt Pound/Butt Slam move that's so common in a lot of Mario games.
For Mario I would have preferred to use the druid's spell list.
A monk prefers to have a good wisdom rather than charisma.
You can get Control Flames, Shape Water (yep, because you are a plumber) and Jump, but you can use your wisdom for your fire attack.
I would have totally gone for the druid spell list, but the little balls of fire that you get from a fire flower just seemed way too spot on for firebolt, so I had to go with it spell list that had that available. But control flame would have definitely been another option, good call out

OH, sorry I just realized that Control Flames and Produce Flames are two different cantrips.
I meant to say Produce Flames, the one with which you can create a sphere in your hand that you can hold for illumination, or throw it as an attack.
@@noditianniz-emir7075 that probably would have been way better, I will actually make an adjustment to the character sheet I posted on my patreon, that way it will be a bit more of an effective character. Thanks

Aswesome and surprising characters as always. Conglatulations for your original work and the 600 subsc.
Thanks, it's been growing fast, but I'm enjoying every minute of it
Not bad, but use actual in-game stats: Mario & Luigi rpg’s, Mario 2, Smash, Mario Rabbids - Mario is faster, stronger, & more charismatic. Luigi is smarter and more of a thinker (nice use of Still of Mind)
Thank you
Thank you for the recommendation
This was a great build
Thanks, you seem to really be making your way through my whole catalog, I appreciate it, but you'll definitely see if you builds in my history if I could use some improvement either in the build quality or the video quality
Congrats on 600 subs
Thanks, I'm super excited about how fast this channel is growing 😁
I would have gone Stout Halfling for Mario, and Lightfoot Halfling for Luigi. Just to represent their size difference. Lightfoot Halflings make for great Rogues, so Luigi would be an Arcane Trickter. Mario would be a Fighter (Champion) + Monk (Way of the Four Elements) just pick Fire Elements. Monk is for how he fights unarmed. Champion is because he is the champion of the Mushroom Kingdom. Fighter + Monk is also a great melee build. Way of the Four Elements (Fire) for his fiery attacks.
The AC voost from the Defense fighting style only works while wearing armor. Also, you should've taken Produce Flame from the Druid spell list with Magic Initiate so you can use Wisdom;
2:00 her name is Pauline
Yeah, I added in a little edit on it, but didn't get the chance to rerecord unfortunately. It did drive me a little nuts though, knowing it was off
I think it was also his father in the Donkey Kong game
Me seeing this in my feed: "Hereeee we gooo"
Now I just wish I had added in more sound clips lol
I would be weirdly tempted to make Mario an artificer just to get magic item savant, meaning you can use just about any magic item you find. Granted it's way more fun to just give him the abilities through class features.
You should make another video where instead of using Smash to determine their abilities you use the Mario&Luigi games
Well here’s a good one to do what about agent Gibbs from NCIS I think that would be interesting
You could have used Druid instead of Sorcerer (using produce flames and still getting jump)

Avocado - 1 hp, randomly has either 16 AC or 8 AC depending on Ripeness. But it's impossible to tell whether or not it's ripe until an attack roll has been made on it.
whats next and when?
New builds every Thursday (and possible other videos in the future on other days), and I just started posting spoilers of what's coming next on Patreon and will probably have more posting on Twitter and whatnot.
But I'm not one to turn down the question in my comments this early on in my channel 😁 tomorrow I'll be posting my build of Venom
Just found your channel; it’s really interesting! Can you base a build off of Agent Kit Kat (ruclips.net/video/7U7HLambLFc/видео.html, or Alice from the American McGee games if there’s too little to base Agent Kit Kat on)
I don't know enough about Kit Kat, but I can definitely do Alice from the American McGee game, that will definitely be an interesting build but I already have a few ideas.
@@dndbuilds Yeah, that Kit Kat video is all there is; I thought it’d be fun to create a build that’s basically a Lawful Good thief.
Keep up the great work! Breaking characters down like this really fascinates me.
Just a heads up, your Alice build will be coming out tomorrow, tried to cover most of the overall concepts of Alice in Wonderland, but definitely leaned much more towards the American McGee/Madness Returns than any other type of media Alice appeared in.
@@dndbuilds Fantastic, thank you!
Can you make leatherface
I had planned to do a full blown slasher villain list closer to Halloween, but you may have just pushed me to do at least one a bit sooner.
@@dndbuilds can you name some horror characters that you might do
@@thedemon1185 other than LeatherfaceI planned to try to figure out Freddy which may be the hardest one. Then Ghost Face and Jason Voorhees for sure, possibly Pennywise the Clown and then possibly top it off with Michael Myers. Did you have any other recommendations?
@@dndbuilds i would enjoy seeing ghostface.
@@thedemon1185 I think he's going to be super fun, since he's one of the only ones who truly hides their identity
Can you do one punch man
You got it 👍
@@dndbuilds thanks
Just saying. That was Mario's father 'Jumpman' and DK's father. Also wasn't Daisy.
