  • After a massive wait, here's the final part of the longsword build. I really enjoyed this project, I hope you enjoyed watching it!
in the next one I'll be restoring a WWI 1907 pattern bayonet, very excited to get into it as it's been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now.
let me know if you liked the voiceover stuff and as always if there's anything you'd like to see me make, let me know!
    Thanks for watching!

Great video! The final sword looks so cool 🤩 Looks like it came out pretty sharp too!
I liked the voiceover, I think it worked better than the stopping to explain and going back in.
Small note but if that box or whatever under the table towards the end of the video is a shipping label, be careful as I think some of those bar codes can have your address in them!

Awesome video, the sword came out great, personally I might have left the blade bright but that's just preference.
I could tell that you had done a lot of research on the construction of this sword as you included a lot of the tiny details that some miss.
The indexing pommel and the use of a pommel nut instead of just threading the pommel itself is one example.
It makes for a much stronger hilt the way you did it.
The voiceover is good idea, it kept the video moving nicely and like you said, it makes for better sound quality.
Overall, awesome project and I hope to see more soon.
