Thank you so much for this addition!
Man, this takes me back to my teenage years! Oh, the nostalgia. New Order Substance 1987 cassette. It was great!!
Ceremony is incredible. It’s a masterpiece
I still think it's the most brilliant piece of music I have ever heard❤❤
@@jonhaigh9530 I think it's the best rock and roll song ever written.
Barney sounds really tired. Its a treasure to still see New Order and yes, we are all getting older. Always love to New Order and Hooky...
SOME OF US VERY OLD
Terrible vocals. Getting sick of these crap vocal performances from all genres. Get the guy from The Killers to sing. Something.
Its been a long time
What a long strange trip its been
Called time bro … 42 year they been making music …. Long time … Father Time even gets our hero’s to … glad I saw them astroworld summer 1989 in h town … at there vocal peak 😎✌🏻
I cannot believe I missed this rare opportunity literally just a 5 hour drive away. :( Really great video. and audio. It almost feels like I was there. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Que orgulloso debe sentirse Ian,
Que su gran banda, este dandolo todo,
45 años despues!este donde este 🙏🙏🙏
Gracias,y que Fenomenos!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
New Order!💛👍👍👍🎩🎩🥂🥂
Thank you very much for uploading this beautiful material!
You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Lindo demais....saudades de vcs em SP Brasil!!!
LOVE LOVEEE NEW ORDER, soo many songs to sing and dance !!
Forever JOY DIVISION
Great footage, looking forward to seeing them in Leeds later this year.
New order . Lo mejor que nos pueda haber pasado en los 80
New Order solo era parte de una era revolucionaria en música que empujaba hacia el futuro. Las bandas increíbles de dicha época son realmente inumerables.
Je les verrai à Paris en septembre 😊
Really exciting Ceremony 😄, pretty well played and not bad singered. Bravo New Order!!!!
Thanks a lot for this video 👏
Hell yes
❤❤❤❤❤uau amo
Magnífico
Brilliant, I remember going to this gig, would be awesome if you could upload the whole concert. 🙂
Sorry to say this was all the footage I got that evening. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for this!
Getting old but still magnificent
EARLY 80S
They were the real 80s sounding band they started the new Order of the 80s .I
Gone are those pretty bass lines from Peter
Joy Division is the most defining band!
Paris waiting for you 🥰
Great show last night!!
Formidable !
18:21 World
Este vídeo demonstra ainda estarem vivos, vou ver no dia 10 de Junho no Porto, pena o Peter não estar, aquele baixo, só ele o toca daquela maneira.🍷
Love New order but not the same without Hook on bass
i keep thinking, who are these other people wandering around the stage? There's no character to the band now, unlike before.
Amo New Order pero duele no verlo a Peter Hook
Peter hook se fue
Barnie hasnt got the energy to cover the earlier stuff by the sound of it😢
Never the same without Hooky.
where's Hooky?
Unfortunately, he left NO in 2007.
Who else is in the band? Or is it Just Bernie ?
Morris and Gillian are still there. God, Morris is an energizer bunny!
Every Zelda obsessive knows those fans are the wrong way round.
Vocally Hookey has aged better than Barney, JD/NO still the best band/s on the planet
They both should just hire someone who can sing.
u cant do the early songs without Hooky
He is truly missed.
Deserver to be in the HALL OF FAME Long ago!!!!!! However, Barney needs to be in better shape - looks like my Grandpa on meds singing to himself in his room.
I 👀 Bernard has now changed his electric 🎸 for an acoustic 1🤌 still miss Hooky on bass🤫 sorry, fans of USA are so loyal too.
I don't this seems a good set/duration for their standards
Many of their old material haven't played over 25 years
I never seen new order play longer than 90mins 🤷🏼 🇬🇧
Iam on your Side cause i miss Hooky too. New Order is Gillian, Stevie, Bernhard & Hooky.
@@dirk586I often wonder what Rob Gretton, ( Rip), would make of it all🧏♂️ most older fans will agree 🤝
@@dirk586 👍 I saw new order play in Wolves 2006, last time with Hooky, it was a great gig
I reckon it was during 2007 Control 🎬 that may of been awkward times for Stephen & Gillan, as I heard that Grace one of their daughters was very sick & Gillian had cancer at some stage 😣
I have all their 📚 just wonder if Gillian will ✍️ publish her own?
I met Stephen Morris,🥁 back in 2005.
A strange man, funny & very chatty if he wants to be
I met Hooky, in 2010 📗signing
He had bought all the Factory&Hacienda club, so he had a financial plan?
He was enjoying life of DJing & the tours with his band the light
He was more into playing Joy Division songs than Barney,
I dislike all the Electronic material, apart from the first album
I don't think Bernard remembers Procession 🤷🏼
🇬🇧
@@empireman1077 That's great to hear. Unfortunately I never got to know them personally, my only concert was in 1987 in Düsseldorf, Germany. I also like Electronic's 1st album, especially the song "some distant memory" with the oboe at the end of the song. I like Steve, I found The Other Two quite nice. It sometimes makes me very sad that this unique band has fallen out so badly. I guess Barney & Hooky's egos are too big... I remotely follow the activities of New Order, Hooky,FAC 251 etc. But the magic I've felt for 40 years is fading...
@@dirk586 yes, the good old days are gone, but I believe we were so lucky to have all these bands/musicians
As these days it is rubbish, apart from some unsigned bands coming through the scene IST IST & Hot vestry from Macclesfield/Manchester 👍
I have seen new order loads of times, even in Frankfurt 84 & Paris 2001
I used to like A certain ratio, The Durutti column & James
There was some 💩 released on Factory 📀🎧, only Happy Mondays were the other successful commercial artist to keep Factory records going, but with no promotion & contracts the label went into receivership 1992
I have the book by Deborah Curtis ,Touching from a distance: one of the best books ever to be 📝 about Ian Curtis ( JD)
I used to go to Manchester for 🛍️& record shops 90s
I would stay with friends, as I live in the South 🇬🇧
I saw The Chameleons at the Ritz.
I never went to the Hacienda club, but that had changed from being a music venue to a club for 👐💊 not really my scene.
I did like the other 2 music, but the second album was very poor imp)
I saw James play once before they left Factory, they have became another stadium band like U2!🤑😎
Bernard’s voice was never good, so this performance is actually tolerable😂. Love New Order tho!
This is similar to my response to the criticism aimed at his vocals. Bernie NEVER wanted to be a front man, much less a lead vocalist. But with Ian's suicide, he was thrust into the role. And I - for one - sure am glad he moved out of his comfort zone and made a go of it. Yes, he's older here. But all of us are. His voice is simple, relatable, and accessible. Bravo, sir.
すっかり爺になって、演奏もゆるゆるで、さみしいね。
Whomever recorded this obviously doesn't know New Order too well. You forgot to get shots of Steve and Gillian.
Not sure if you’re being serious. But, 1) They’re represented here, and 2) You may have noticed a 6’4” man enjoying himself to my right. I wasn’t going to interrupt his good time to get better shots of Steve and Gillian. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the footage. Cheers.
i have to say, its so off-putting having security stood right in front of you in gigs and even when they try not to eye-ball people, just their presence was always a major irritant for me. Just fuck off. They don't need to be where this guy is. There should be a team on stage in the wings off to the side watching, not right in people's faces, not for a gig like this. It's hardly rough. Only in a standing-only festival of 10,000 or more do you need these guys at the front like that and even then it depends on what the bands are. When i saw U2 in 85 it was outside with 50,000 people. i was right at the front and the ramones and rem preceded U2 and during that summer day more than 50 people were carried/pulled out of the crowd and over the heads of the front rows. I had several boots hitting me in the head as we passed people over us. It was a crush and security on that day were absolutely needed where this guy is standing like a spare part
Puerto RIcan salsa disaster
Great band in there time, but lately they have become their own tribute group. Come up with something new guys, otherwise just pass on the baton.
Your "They have become their own tribute group" is brilliant, maybe the best RUclips comment I've ever read.
Joy DIvision were the myth
Horrific. When you bastardize your past greatness on full show here.
Awful
Back in the day when England was English!
Bernard’s speaking voice hasn’t changed much so he definitely have the hearing problem and the auto tune made it worse. He needs to lose some weight to be more agile on a stage, but that is another story.
