      I’ve watched them all the only one that thru me off is I watched some videos on the trulok and it did really good then yours did really bad but you didn’t have the new ones and I’m wondering if the new ones is the ones that done good

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA

      We have the new ones as well on the channel

      So far the code black at 515 did good with I think viper , you are the only channel that is that thorough on pattern testing a certain gun with multiple chokes and shells which makes your channel a cut above the rest and when you say this choke and this shell is knarly (awsome) you can bet your bottom dollar and you came to that conclusion from not sitting on the couch but getting out and working the results so you have me and my brothers total respect

      I appreciate that man! No channel patterns as much as we do, once we get rolling we’ll be dropping 2 videos a day til spring turkey is over
      Becoming a member allows you to catch all the videos early as currently members have access to them as they upload rather then when I drop them to the public !

    Hey guys! I’m thinking about buying either a SA20, or SA28 Mossberg. Could yall do a comparison between both guns using the jebs and indian creek chokes. I’d like to see performances with Apex green leaf, and Rogue ammunition. Also, what’s your thoughts on recoil between the two? Thanks guys!!

    Torn between the 940 pro or the SA. If you had to choose knowing what you know now which one would you choose?

    What load are you using to hunt geese with a 28 gauge?

    Be nice if they had the camo version without the pistol grip. I’ve got a Franchi Affinity Elite Turkey 20ga that I have a love/hate relationship with due to the pistol grip lol

    Great vid guys! Would love to see a M2, Affinity, A300 Ultima thoughts and comparison vid!!!!!!!!!! Waterfowl season isn't too far away.

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  Год назад +1

      That would be tricky as moose has the m2 in 12 gauge & affinity in 20 gauge I have the affinity in 12 gauge and the a300 in 20 gauge so can’t really compare any of them
      Also I haven’t hunted with the a300 for fowl yet

    What is the LOP on it? Site says 12.5". Would that be considered youth? Great looking gun.

      Never measured it I bet it’s 12.5 inch if that’s what they say or a touch +/-

    Love my SA-20. It was the perfect (for me) turkey gun-or as close as you can get out of the box (I already have it’s cousin the SA459, which I like but not as good as the SA-20).
    I was looking at ALL models (Benelli performance shop and ultralight, Beretta, Franchi Affinity 3 Turkey, Tristar, etc.). None was as close to my “perfect” turkey gun as the SA-20:
    -Gas action… I slightly prefer gas for turkeys because of the combination of felt recoil for kids (which I take a lot) and the fact I run & gun & I’m hard on equipment & it’s easier to knock an inertia action out of battery & hear that dreaded “click”
    -Short
    -Light Weight (I mean do I wish it was a little lighter still? Sure, but it doesn’t get much lighter for a gas 20 with a pistol grip)
    -Pistol grip… I admit a pistol grip isn’t the prettiest & it adds a tiny bit of weight, but they’re great for out-of-position shots when the bird skirts around to your right (or trigger finger) side
    -Good camo
    -I don’t hate the sights. They have 2 really good things going for them: they’re adjustable to match POA with POI if/when I don’t want my red dot AND they’re the perfect height to leave on for backup. I don’t co-witness or like my irons visible in my red dot. They’re low enough not to be in my field of view and JUST high enough to use with the rail on. If I’m in a hurry & the batteries go out on my Trijicon RMR I can just pull the whole mount off the rail & deal with a battery change and re-checking POI later.
    -Optics-ready with the rail
    -It patterns very well & it’s a versatile pattern depending on load & choke like that SA-28.

    So after all your tests what is the best turkey choke for the SA 28 and the best shell ????

    Curious about its trigger. The experience I’ve had, which is really limited, with Mossberg has been terribly heavy trigger pull.

    • @pjdaley823
      @pjdaley823 6 месяцев назад +2

      You can add an aftermarket trigger that drops poundage of pull and is way smoother.

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  6 месяцев назад +1

      Well my view is it’s a shotgun I pull the trigger it hits where I’m aiming I’m good lol
      I don’t get caught up with the trigger to me it’s fine worked afield & on every pattern test

    • @pjdaley823
      @pjdaley823 6 месяцев назад +2

      Did it on my sa 20 and it is very nice. The original trigger was not a great.

      I do get all caught up in a trigger, that’s why I asked. Especially for my granddaughter. Thanks for sharing your experience @@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA

      I gathered that based on your question and I responded with my honest opinions based on shooting the gun a ton with zero issue
      For a youth I could understand it for anyone else I don’t but that’s the beauty of the outdoors everyone has their ways of doing things and I’m all for it!

    Handsome Jake and the Abominable Ginger Man!! I love the looks of the SA28. I don't hunt waterfowl, so I have no use for a semiautomatic 28 gauge. Once Rossi makes a 28 I'll pick one up for those funky chickens. Remember Richards
