Lower center of gravity will always help handling, so long as it's not causing you to bottom out too easily. The treat looks much more aggressive, so that should help also, even though they're narrower. I think I like how the stock tires look though, I'd maybe see if you can find a tire with closer dimensions to stock, but with an aggressive tread like those smaller ones you have there. At the end of the day, you're the one running it, and it's really just a matter of what you prefer and brings you joy. No matter what, I always love seeing the Kraton 🙂
I just put those on my EXB . Isn't the response amazing ! I didn't gear up yet . I'm going to see how they do at the track 1st , but I sure do like the snappyness running a 980KV 33/39 🤙 love your videos brotha
They remind me of dirt bike tires and that's cool It hurts the top end speed with smaller tires but it turns up faster better out the whole For racing it depends on the size of the track and jumps If your on a short track with smaller jumps id go with smaller tires If its a big track with long straights and big jumps I'd go with bigger tires Put some weight in the front it will help turn better and keep it from wheeling so easy ✌️
These must be rebranded Hostile Racing Mx tires. I had a set for my Baja 5b SS way back in maybe 2009. They even had the "H" stamped into the center lugs.
Like those tires.... Seems to perform similarly to putting Katars on the Kraton 6s🎯 Take a look at Rich's latest, he put the limitless gearing on the 8s and seems to be perfect 🚀🚀🚀🔥
@@ExocagedRC yeah man, I wouldn't know personally.... But when in doubt, if it works for Duperbash, ya know the rest haha Rock. On and stay safe my man
I have owned both mx43's and the Trenchers, I agree that they make the truck way more "trucky", but for my bashing I prefer them since they give a ton of wheelies and flips 😁👍🏽.
I want to get street tires for mine you know any where I can get some I just check their web site they sell street tires to ha e to get two sets for rear right for the kraton
how tall is that tire? what size wheel hex? would it be to big for a 6s kraton? the website has zero specs on it. i really want something like that for my kraton 6s
I have similar tyres made by Hostile racing and they do a wider option as they fit the HPI 5SC which has slightly wider rear wheels , I run them on all my gas but my Dragon Hammer and my VEKTA-5 as these are running a lot bigger tyres but on my LOSI's and HPI's they are great for grip I have not tried them on my KV5TT yet still running it in so stock tyres left on then I have Lockdowns and Blockades left over from when I raced my LOSI-5ive-T these are similar to the Hot Bodies Rodeoo's again these are available in slightly wider. The Pro-Line belted are a lot heavier so the truck will suffer as it has a lot more mass to move, so no real advantage, hell you can tell lockdown is getting to me I am waffling on here have not seen a soul in seven days, love the solitude but tat wa because I had the ability to go out to see freinds LOL keep the uploads coming as I am fed up with Netflix and Amazon.
Can't wait to see it go with the 40t. Gonna have a little more push to it :) I've also been experimenting with tires. Just put XO-1 tires on my Rustler. I love them on it. Video of it if interested in seeing what it looks like. ruclips.net/video/KIMGypeaUAg/видео.html
That car is massive,love It👍🏻
These 8s Kratons look fun.

yeah the stock tires are way better for bashing and yeah I need a bigger better basher tire for it
Badass!! One day I wish for a 8s level RC, I stuck with brushed entry level RC for now

If u want backflips, u could try that shorty chassis that Kevin talbot put on his.
don't want to shorten it
Try out the duratrax lockups x 22mm belted tires. They work great for the xmaxx 8s and Kraton 8s. $100 for 4! You can't beat that.
These must be rebranded Hostile Racing Mx tires. I had a set for my Baja 5b SS way back in maybe 2009. They even had the "H" stamped into the center lugs.
What about acceleration, surely that's a big improvement?
M2C has a short chassis that makes it flip like a outcast.
I don't really want to shorten it, I like the full truggy look
I just ordered the redcat shredder v2 1/6 scale . Ithink it's pretty comparable to that truck!
yes it is very similar. not as big likely, and after some upgrades (like 6s kraton diff replacement of the stock diffs since they are the only issue)
you can put 6s kraton diffs in a shredder?
Have you thought about trying Louise tires for the xmaxx? They're pretty much re-branded duratrax tires.
I've been looking at a bunch, but many aren't available right now
@@ExocagedRC sux everything is out of stock right now.

yeah, I was thinking about that smaller spur gear too.

Great video 👍🏿
ye
Great video 🔥🔥🔥
Why didn't u go to the powerhobby tires
Wanted to give these a try, but power hobby may be in the near future
You like backflips? Buy the Proline Trenchers, durable and backflip king👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Keep doing you! Great vids always!
Ya but they make the rig handle like a drunken elephant

@@Negern91 and with the weight they do put more stress on the driveline that's the one downfall with the trenchers for me is the weight
Hmmmm, did I miss a video, or do I see the maxx with the UDR hyraxs on it...
lol you have not missed a video, I still have to finish the edit on that one
You know power hobby makes a belted tire for these that don't balloon.
Been hearing a lot about the power hobby tires lately
They are definitely better tires the less it blooms the more traction your gonna get ✌️
Awesome! You have a 35t pinion on the stock motor and esc? If so any heat issues?
35t pinion on a Castle 800kv motor and Monster X8s esc.
Also do you share racing vids?
Install wheels from Dragonhammer VoltZ!)
I want to get street tires for mine you know any where I can get some I just check their web site they sell street tires to ha e to get two sets for rear right for the kraton
maybe gone bananas?
The hubs are 24 mm right
But it takeoff more aggressive and you can see it!
Yep!

lol yeah man, luckily we are still free to get out, where I am we never really had a lockdown.

Great vid bud 🤘 all I can say is check out Rich Duperbash and he’ll change your mind on how insane this car is🤘
