I just got fit for the GT2 driver and 13.5; 3 wood (was a TSR3 guy last year). The GT2 is a surprisingly low spin product this year, and then you get the added forgiveness. Very confidence inspiring to really get after it. I paired it with a Ventus black as well 6S (105 SS).

I was custom fit for TSR2 in 2022, Then the 3 last November. Looking forward to the TSR3 GT3 comparison video. Won’t be changing anytime soon, these clubs are ultra expensive now with the GT at $649 new !! I’m good for another 5 years when I retire 😊 at end of 2028

Interestingly, I reviewed your TS driver fitting. From a few years back. Ball speeds were 173mph with a carry distance 300 yds. It would be nice for you to compare the TS with the GT Eagle Golf
They are very similar in terms of spin. If anything the gt2 spins less for you with higher launch than gt3. A bit confusing or is it more about which shape do you like best in the end?
I love the sound of the new driver but honestly am not impressed. I will keep my TSR3 as I believe your numbers were better with that driver. Great video as always.
EAGLE LINK GOLF. Thanks for the great review! Just got fit into the GT2 today. Was tempted to go with 45" in the shaft length and was told I could change it later. Play standard length in my irons. What made you decide to go a bit shorter? If I change my order, should I get a slightly heavier screw in the back to maintain swing weight?
I tried them all at my local shop… GT4 probably the biggest improvement over the predecessor but it won’t appeal to many players. GT3 was virtually no difference in performance vs TSR3. GT2 was my favorite of the GTs but there aren’t enough performance gains to warrant anyone who has TSR to make the change. The GT is ever so slightly more muted sounding than TSR, which I liked but Titleist did a great job of maintaining a great sound while switching to multi-material heads. That being said Titleist was best in class w/TSR and I think that continues with GT. Theoretically there could be forgiveness gains with GT but I couldn’t tell with the small sample size I tested. The GT fairways were noticeably more muted than TSR. Otherwise I didn’t see any difference in performance vs TSR with the stock shafts that were in the demos. Only fittings would produce different outcomes when comparing GT to TSR and dial in the subtle differences. Titleist had a tough task of updating a near perfect TSR lineup and did a good job, but there wasn’t much room for improvement.
The GT would have to be pretty special to ever replace my fitted TSR2 Michael but I would definitely like to try the GT2. At the end of the day, they will have to pry whatever Titleist driver I'm hitting from my cold, dead fingers though. Probably gonna be my TSR2. Wife says she's gonna have it bronzed and use it as my headstone.
Just tried it today. It’s a Titleist driver for sure, nothing more or less improvement from my tsr3. Did notice a big drop off in distance on the low face hits, so I had to tee it up higher. Not worth the upgrade for me.
Really interesting line up. I played tsr 2 (I’m only a 14.5 handicap with driver being my weakest club) and was fitted a few days ago to the GT range here in Australia. Hit the GT2 better than my TSR2 but being a consistent heal striker with a right miss, the GT3 was giving me better numbers in all categories. Same in the fairway woods, moved the weight into the heal and the GT3 will be my new gamer in both clubs. Can’t wait
Looks like GT2 is best overall and since there isn’t a 5 to 10 yard gain with the GT3 over the GT2 there would be no reason to sacrifice forgiveness as there is still some work ability and their performance overall is better. Price? In Canada here with taxes almost $1000. They jacked the price up another $100 over the ridiculous price they charge last year, which was 800+ tax.drivers are getting absolutely ridiculous price, I guess the best thing to do is wait a few years and when the new model comes out by this at a reduced price is the best thing to do.
There are some excellent drivers on the market that are more reasonably priced. The Cleveland Launcher XL 2 is one of them and the reviews I have watched have been positive.
I had a fitting with titleist and went from a tsr2 to the gt3. The clubs 2 to the 3 are looking more similar but the 3 for me sat in a better flight and spin window. My misses with the gt3 didn’t cost me a heap of distance vs the gt2 which spun up on a bad strike

Eagle Links Golf I've just had a fitting for the GT2, It's a great club, I gained 30 yrds over my current Titleist Tsi, and it was straighter with a really tight dispersion ring. Can't wait for it to arrive.
30 yards? Come on. You were TERRIBLY mis-fit in your existing driver. I went through the fitting and had roughly the same numbers but the sound was superior on the new GT3.

If the gt3 has tighter spin consistency and lower spin overall then it could be really good
