I had very bad experience today 9th November 2023 for visa on arrival. I paid 35 usd visa fee and collected the receipt. When i went to immigration counter, i had submitted my passport, boarding pass, visa payment receipt. They asked return ticket and hotel booking. They immigration officer started asking questions about the purpose of visit, how many days, what i am going to visit. I had tell the itinary exactly to him. He asked about my job. Then he asked my company id card. I didnt carry my company id. I had to show my office teams and official outlook in order to prove that i am working for that particular company. Then he asked to show company website. After doing all these, he told me to pay visa fee. I told him i have paid already and kept my visa payment receipt along with my documents. Then he told he didn't receive my payment receipt. I fought with him almost 30 mins. I insisted am not going to pay again. Finally he found my receipt from down. He already checked there many times. But when i insisted he found. Finally my visa stamped. I believe there is some scam going on. So be careful guys.

I live and work in China for long time. I was traveling from China to Jakarta during my holidays in China (February 2024). I was the only foreigner in my flight and in immigration queue at that time. All Chinese in front of me 10min to 15min VOA done. I do had my eVisa already. But I was asked deep detailed questions that must be asked by immigration of China, not immigration of Indonesia. He asked me to provide work permit, company's card, photos of work place/company or website, bank cards from company, salary slips, cash. If I have cards login the app and show the history of records. And why do I have this visa in China, why do I had that visa in China bla bla. The process took 50min. And 99% questions and queries were belong to Chinese related immigration not even their immigration. I dont want to say this but my personal feeling is they target us more

Do i need to show any approval certificate at Mumbai immigration or just show passport and travel and get visa at Indonesia airport. Well, you can take VOA at the airport. In the video we are talking about E - Visa on arrival where you get Pre-approval letter after the payment. I would recommend that you fly directly to get VOA at the airport which is cheaper and easier for you. All you need is hotel bookings confirmed, return flight proofs, passport with the validity of 6 months at least, and some amt in USD. They do not check vaccine certs these days but still have them on your phone. In the case of Vietnam, you have to take evisa and carry a print-out of the approval letter. The passport is stamped at the airport upon arrival.

So I was a bit worried, your reply has cleared my doubts. Thank you sm! Keep up the great work.

I am planning a trip to Indonesia for tourism purposes. As an Indian citizen, I understand that I have two options for obtaining a visa: an E-visa or a Visa on Arrival (VOA). If I choose to obtain a VOA at the Bali airport, I would like to know if I am permitted to take an internal domestic flight within Indonesia to visit another island during my stay.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    1) Indonesia ka visa (sticker or visa on arrival) fresh passport pe mil jaata hai naa?
    2) Indonesia visa Milne se pure Indonesia mein ghum sakte hai ki sirf bali ka visa alag se milta hai?
    3) Documents needed
    - Valid passport
    - Visa form
    - 2 to 4 Photographs as per mentioned specifications with white background and matte finish
    - Travel insurance (kitne ka aur kaha se Lena hai)
    - Bank balance kitne chahiye?
    - noc and leave letter for salaried employees
    - ITR kitne saal ka chahiye?
    - Bank statement for how many month?
    - Vaccine certificate
Iske alawa aur koi document chahiye?

VISA ON ARRIVAL to miljaegya. Their norms are not very strict so chances of getting the visas are higher. VOA is valid for 30 days or if you want to stay for an additional period of time then apply for a visa or take B211A Evisa which allows you to stay in the country for 180 days or 6 months. Maintain a bank balance of 2000 USD (1.6 LACS APPROX) in case you are going for the visa instead of VOA. You can travel anywhere within Indonesia with all types of visas.
      FOR e-visa requirements are here:visa-online.imigrasi.go.id/info.xhtml
You can apply from here (directly from the consulate site) but you would need a guarantor: visa-online.imigrasi.go.id/- This one can be cheaper since you will be applying directly from the official immigration site.
Else you can apply through an online agent which is genuine and that too without a guarantor: bali.com/visit-bali-during-covid-offshore-e-visa/- Evisas can be expensive because they themselves are guarantors.
      - Travel insurance (kitne ka aur kaha se Lena hai) - any insurance you can go with - minimum coverage of 50k to 100k USD.
Safetywing is popular in the whole of the southeast region- safetywing.com/nomad-insurance/?referenceID=travelman&Ambassador
      - Bank balance kitne chahiye? - 2000 USD minimum
      - noc and leave letter for salaried employees- I don't think that you need a NOC letter. Instead, you might require a sponsor letter if someone is inviting you.
      - ITR kitne saal ka chahiye? - Usually, they don't ask for ITR copies but if the consulate has such requirements then keep it for 1 yr minimum. Bank statements must work.
      - Bank statement for how many months? 3-4 months or max upto 6 months
      - Vaccine certificate - Yes submit the vaccine certs and that is mainly required when you apply for an evisa. They are crazy about it. But nowadays if you land in Indonesia they are not checking vaccine certs.
