He was also pretty much the only one left. Sefton Hill and the others left long enough ago and were facing enough difficulty leading up to their departure that their creative influences did not manifest much. Arundel and the art team both did great; the game designers and the writers dropped the ball.
@@snakeeyesraw As the above reply stated, Hill was behind the direction of the game and he only left in late 2022, when the game was just over a year before launch.
@@themadtitan7603I just saw the BAV video about it and that just makes me sad. The problem I see is that Sefton Hill is not like he is a bad writter and I don't think so, but due to schedules and studio shifts and the whole MCU thing with Infinity war and Endgame. Sefton got carried away on try to do it with the same thing in this game because this was initially a WB montreal game not Rocksteady's and the codename for this game was still stones. Problems we gotta set up here with this is: The Arkham series finished in with Batman's premise being destroyed. As the myth was already destroyed, there was nothing they could make that work from. You and I can argue that if they were going to copy Infinity war and Endgame. The best way it is to set up these characters in previous games before to us care about them. So a Justice League game would absolutely work showing Batman joining the league. Or a Superman game where the at the end of it you gotta a cliffhanger of the League finally estabilishing and then making this whole Brainiac thing with the Suicide Squad a game about where it begins as we playing the members of the League being one by one getting corrupted and showing Batman the prime member of this franchise the only one not to fell into mind control. They wanted to kill regardless the whole league and then do the endgame thing, but keeping it as a surprise to the fans and the lack of hints suggesting it made the game got backlashed. My point is that Batman could have died but at least died fighting for the good side not the bad one and could be also him helping the Suicide Squad and it could be more meaningful if it were Batman because it would have been facing his code to protect humanity. And that it is something interesting to see in adaptation and in the future seasons the whole League comes back with some twist and save batman idk.

This game didn’t deserve Nick Arundel’s talent neither Kevin’s voice, I hope Arundel switched studio and join Sefton Hill team. Thanks for the upload 👍
The Arkham series is important to us. The lore, characters, everything. So naturally we expected rocksteady to make a proper sequel to Arkham knight. Such a stupid comment
ngl it seems nick arundel is the only one at rocksteady who actually cared about batman’s legacy

holy fuck the wayne bank soundtrack's actually scary, i never realized batman was this scary when you used to play as him
A game this bad does NOT deserve a soundtrack this good.

also reminds me of the 1989 music
