Thank you so much very informative! I just purchased one and am looking forward to receiving it! I like that it can be used with one hand if you need to you can put a weapon in your other hand. You can use it to block or a quick initial strike. But at the same time you don't need two hands. You can step up the force putting a weapon in the other hand if need be like pepper spray or a knife or firearm! Again thank you so much for your review!
I think you will really Love the walking stick; it hits hard and with its light weight and balance can be swung very fast with practice!
@@reflexflow9088 Great! Too many other canes you need two hands to get any speed or power. I do like the idea of using this one-handed which gives me time for more options.

Thank You Lewis! The Model I have is the Raven and I'm having a lot of fun swinging it! And it works well as a little extra support for My back. I've also had a knee replacement as well and know that knee pain is no fun!
I have two of these (one for practice). I used the bat tape “lizard skin” double rapped. Use it daily - love them! Great review!

Your cane will cut paper. My cold steel walkabout will smash boards and bricks. If I'm in the valley of the shadow of death i want the walkabout.
I love Cold Steel Products! What I like about the Blackswift Raven and Raptor is they are more than hard enough to break bones and tested against baseball bats. Plus, very light and easy to swing very Deadly fast! The walkabout is a little heavy for my taste, but still a great walking stick and great for self-defense packing a lot of power. (I own the cold Steel City stick as well) and the African heavy duty Cold Steel walking stick)
